No extra links the band is plenty big I had to remove 4 of them to fit.

There are no mechanical/automatic chronographs made for under $1000,and maintenance on an automatic (mechanical) chrono is much higher,and not nearly as accurate as a quartz chronograph

Yes. Who wants to duplicate a $100.00 watch? Forget the warranty. Shipping and handling will eat up the value. If it keeps good time, keep it. When it fails....dump it. A great value. You won't find a better looking watch at any price.
