Good Quality, Supportive Dog Bed
We’ve had this best for about a month, and so far we love it. We have an 11 year old dog and a 6 year old dog who just had a TPLO procedure, so I was looking for a better quality, more supportive bed for them, and this fit the bill! I like that the main part of this bed is a memory foam mattress topper type material instead of egg crate or fluff. Our 50lb pup takes up about half the bed (she likes to sleep curled up), and I feel like it’s the perfect size for our 80lb pup (he likes to sleep stretched out). They seem to love it, so we do too!

Great quality dog bed
This is a great dog bed. I’ve bought 3 of them over the years. This one is XL 44x34 Chester Khaki. The bed arrives with the bolsters installed and the foam vacuum packed. Once opened, the foam expands very quickly to the size advertised. It does have a bit of a smell, but after letting it air out it is fine. It easily fit into the water resistant liner and then into the base of the bed. The material is soft and sturdy and I love the color. All the seams and zippers are good, and the bed is heavy enough not to slide around. We put this bed in our living room and the dogs took to it immediately and are very comfortable in it. We have 2 other beds of this same brand in our bedroom and they are now 5 years old and still in excellent condition despite washing the covers numerous times. Reinserting the foam and the bolsters after washing the cover is fairly easy, especially after you’ve done it once. These beds really are great and worth spending a little extra to get something that is both comfortable and durable.

MY DOG AND I BOTH LOVE THIS BED
My older dog loves having a bed in my home office so he can relax while I work but his old bed was starting to rip and get pieces of foam on the floor because he likes to dig in his bed. After too much research online and reading too many reviews I finally ordered this bed and we are both very happy with it. It takes a little muscle to get the cover on the foam and then the foam inside the bed and there is a little of that funky memory foam smell but that dissapated quickly. My dog really appreciates the bolster to rest his head on and the cushiony foam for his body. He's a boxer/springer mix, about 65 pounds and there is room on the bed for another dog if he would share it. Which he won't. The bed is also nice looking and the material feels like it will stand up to his digging the perfect spot!

Love it so much I just ordered a second one for a different room!
Lucy is a lab/corgi mix, weighs about 45-48 lbs, is roughly 36" long, so I bought the large bed in grey which is a perfect size for her.Words can't express how much Lucy LOVES this bed! She sleeps in it, drags all her toys in it, watches tv in it, and has stopped jumping onto my sofas as much (which was the goal). She definitely prefers this bed to the human furniture. Lucy is turning 8 and so she now requires some additional comfort in life as she approaches her mature years, and also getting some old people issues that prevent her from jumping on and off the sofas anymore. That also means that we've gone through so many beds in the past 8 years that I've realized a few things are important to her:1) She loves pillows, so she needed a bed that had the side bolsters. I've searched and wasted money on SOO many other beds that look fluffy and end up flatting out when she tries to lay on them. I feel like I FINALLY found a bed with real filling that is actually supportive. You can see in the images that they actually hold up against her weight when she rests her head on them. I think this is the #1 reason she loves this bed so much. The arms are real pillows.2) The bed itself had to have true thickness and orthopedic quality to support her weight and back. Corgis tend to be prone to developing back issues late in life, so it's important to me that she have support to prevent these from developing. This mattress is thick and truly orthopedic. She actually prefers this bed now to other furniture and I think that this is the main reason why. She's finally comfortable in her older age. For this reason I just ordered a second one to replace the bedroom doggie bed. She'll now have one in the living room and in the bedroom. Totally worth it!3) Lucy sheds a ton and loves to chew her toys on her beds so it had to be washable and vacuum-friendly. The cover is easy to unzip and slip on and off for washing. Lucy isn't that harsh on her beds so I haven't run into the trouble that some other reviewers have. I also keep a blanket on it for her (as you can see in the pictures), which might also be protecting the cover from wearing down quickly. However, in my honest opinion, even if this cover wears out, that's still worth it to me. The covers aren't that expensive, can be purchased separately, and the bed itself is good quality so I know that it'll definitely last through the next cover. The mattress and bolsters quality is key for me. Additionally, I vacuum it almost daily and it hasn't had any wear and tear signs yet between the washing and vacuuming. I'll provide an update if that changes. I've only had it for about 4 months now, so maybe it's still too new for what others have noted? Finally, I can't speak to the waterproof issue that some others have noted in their reviews. Again, Lucy just sleeps on her beds for the most part, and doesn't ever soil them so I have no idea if it is or isn't waterproof. But, I did follow someone's advice and bought a crib mattress cover to wrap the bottom mattress in before putting it into the vinyl sleeve provided (just in case). Something to consider. In summary, Lucy and I LOVE this bed. The price was honestly a little scary for me at first but after receiving this bed I totally get why it's so pricy. It's definitely a good quality bed, and worth it. It makes her other beds look very shabby and dreadful, honestly, like they should just be tossed. Check out my other reviews to see a competitor that we tried, which was also not cheap but much poorer quality, and is now being trashed and replaced by a second one of these. Can't wait for the second one to arrive for the bedroom. I know Lucy's going to be excited.

Friends Forever Orthopedic Dog Bed XL
This dog bed is a really pretty gray color and super soft. It seems to be well made and all of the foam pieces for the sides and the bed base have covers that make putting it together easier. You can unzip the cover that holds all of the side pieces to replace them if they wear out and wash the cover. The main outer cover is also washable. The large flat bed foam also has it's own cover that makes slipping it in the outer bed cover very easy.My only disappointment is that one of the end pieces that helps form the raised edge of the bed, did not raise completely. The large actual bed foam that the dog lays on has hardly raised at all and has a thickened area long ways all across the bed in the center where it has not unfolded but started raising. I laid it out for over 24 hours and it still has not raised like it should. My dog got excited, laid on it for about 20 minutes or so, then got up and went to his old bed.If the foam doesn't start raising and that hard fold in the center of the bed doesn't soften up, I will have to trash it and replace it with new foam. I am not happy about that part. However, I do recommend the bed for the $46 I paid for it. The outer cover and the pillowed edges with their own inner cover are worth it.

Awesome bed!
My girl loves this bed! I was dog sitting for my friend's GSD, when she fell in love with his so I ordered one for her. If it wasn't so expensive I would have one for each room!
