I've been using these in my shop because they haven't stripped or broken on me
Drywalls are cheap, but they're not appropriate for wood. Other phillips screws have a tendancy to strip if you get the angle wrong and then they're stook. Square head screws slip a lot if the angle is wrong (looking at you pocket screws), but these screws rock because of the torx bit head. I use these screws as I'm building up my new shop in my garage because as I tear down the previous owners sloppy additions, I become so frustrated by the Phillips heads (but dang those nails he used really stick!) as the they would slip/strip and were just a huge head ache. The torx heads rarely slip and even when they do I haven't had any slip where I couldn't remove them if I needed to. So no stripping after hundreds of screws. Plus I will be rebuilding my deck next year and I'm definitely using these. Are they expensive? I guess, but for slapping together screws with 2x12 and 2x4 material, these have been perfect. Also, they worked great on the replacement board on my deck.

I don't ever use phillips or flat head screws anymore. these don't strip out.

Good quality, needs better packaging
Showed up quickly! Lid was slightly ajar and still haven't found the bit that's supposed to be included...took a star off for that. Typically never use the included bit, but didnt like thatbit wasnt there. Screws work as intended

Strong and Reliable
These deck screws are highly recommended if you're building a new deck or repairing or replacing boards on an existing deck or other outdoor project. The coating on these screws protect them from corosion and rust, they go in easy and they hold. Availability in different colors is also nice allowing they blend in with the finished project. I like the star heads too as they have more grip without stripping out. High quality and long lasting for any outdoor project.

Best wood screws
Throw out your crappy wood screws with the robertson head. Once you use torx headed screws you will never use crappy robertson headed screws again. Excellent holding and dosent strip out.
