Good Quality, Excellent Value
I've tried lots of ball heads, both expensive and cheap. This is the best inexpensive one I've found so far, and capable of handling a big camera rig easily. Many of the cheap heads work ok, but are clearly designed for smaller cameras. This one has a double locking mech that holds steadily even with a big camera and long lens on it. You can use one knob to adjust friction and the other to lock. Or, tighten both down to hold things firmly. Very nice. Movement is pretty smooth - not buttery like a $150 Manfrotto of course, but you can't expect that. Still, better than most. There's a separate knob to lock the panning, which I like. YMMV. The Arca mount is also solid and moves smoothly. (Bonus: comes with a nice 60mm mounting plate. More versatile than the usual 50mm ones.) This ball head is the best you can get for less than $50 and the equal of many at $100 or more. Highly recommended.

Reliable and Versatile Tripod Ball Head for Family Photography
As a parent who loves capturing family moments, the Neewer 36MM Tripod Ball Head has been a game-changer for us. Its 360-degree rotation allows me to quickly adjust my camera to catch candid shots of the kids, whether they're playing in the yard or blowing out birthday candles. The sturdy metal build gives me confidence that my camera is secure, even when I'm multitasking during family gatherings. One weekend, we set up a DIY family photo shoot in our living room. With this ball head's smooth movement, I easily switched between landscape and portrait orientations, capturing both group photos and individual portraits without missing a beat. The quick-release plate made it simple to detach the camera for spontaneous handheld shots when the kids started getting playful. This tripod ball head has truly enhanced our family photography sessions, making it easier to preserve those precious memories.

Sturdy
This thing is chonky, I've got a couple of ballheads already but this one is physically larger. It works for what I need but keep in mind that this may be larger than your current ballhead. Use wise this thing works great, love that it came with an adapter for other sized mounts too. Using this with a full frame camera and it feels sturdy and when locked in doesn't move or shift. All around a great product.

Excellent Inexpensive Ball Head
I bought the Neewer Ball Head because I was looking for an inexpensive ball head to go on a bean bag and/or monopod that I only use occasionally. I have been pleasantly surprised at the quality and function of this model of Neewer ball head. I recently used the ball head for several days straight and it performed very well, meeting all my wishes for a less expensive ball head. I was using a Canon 5D Mk III with a 24-70mm zoom lens mounted to the ball head. When locked in place the ball didn't move or creep at all, not even when I through my tripod/ball head/camera over my shoulder to move further along a trail I was hiking. The only negative I can think of is that the ball occasionally moved slightly when tightening the pressure knob, but that was easily compensated. I'm not planning to use this as my everyday ball head, but I am pleased to have it as my secondary ball head for a bean bag, monopod or for travel when space and weight is critical.

Worth the price
No issues with the seller. The product came new in box. It's heavy, but I like that for durability and sturdiness. I have yet to use it, but I have owned a couple of Neewer products already and have been satisfied. I read some reviews mention this product is pricey; I don't know why. The price is reasonable considering this is a ball joint head. It's flexible for all photography levels, so I'd say this is a very reasonable price point.

Works well, good value.
The ball head works using my Tamron 150-500 lens and provides the stability I wanted to achieve when attached to a monopod. It takes some practice getting the tension knobs adjusted correctly to allow smooth movement when tracking birds, but for an older person like me that now finds hand holding a heavy telephoto lens more difficult, it was good investment. The unit is well made and the rubber knurled twist knobs provide good grip. The price is very reasonable for a well made product.

Good Solid Ball Head
This is a good hefty well built ball head. I have a Rebel DSL and it holds it just fine. I know it can handle much heavier loads. I got this because I needed a second camera mount for live streaming church services. I'm only using two Mevo Start cameras on a single tripod and needed a second ball head to mount on my horizontal bar. This ball head gives me good control when positioning the camera. Everything locks down nice and tight so the cameras usually are aligned correctly after the initial setup. I only need to adjust if something changes on the stage. I use the Mevo's mostly for its NDI streaming and digital zoom controls. Makes it very easy to one person to handle all the video streaming duties and make it look good. You can't go wrong with this ball head and its price makes is a good value.

Compatta, stabile, funzionale
La utilizzo principalmente all’aperto ma torna utile anche nello still life.
