EcoDecors Satori 34-Inch Natural Teak Shower Bench, Waterproof

I bought this Teak bench in August 2023 for $189. While using it today I thought I should review since it’s been such a great addition to my new shower. While we were remodeling the bathroom, I told my contractor I needed a seat since we’re older. I thought my only choice would be the kind that attaches to the wall of the shower and can be folded up. My contractor suggested looking for a bench so you can move it around – great idea! After using everyday for two years and it still looks brand new! I do wipe it down if I’ve been seated and want to remove any soap residual. Highly recommended!

Good quality for the price, easy to assemble, so far shows no signs of water damage after several months

Very nice quality bench. First off, this is solidly built, and while an import, it's not your standard junk. It's sourced from a company that uses reclaimed boats and such to produce these benches. The assembly is easy, took about 15 minutes in totality and fit together very well. Works great in our shower, even with our sloped base due to the fact that is has very nice big rubber ADJUSTABLE feet. That means no wobbling! The finish is nice, and fits into our colors well (though Teak seems to fit into most bathroom colors I'd bed). Overall very satisfied with and can can recommend it.

I purchase two different sizes of this exact bench. We really like the look and quality of the wood. Adds a spa look to our bathroom. We also like the shelf under the long bench that we use to store rolled up towels. The adjustable feet make it easy to account for any unlevel flooring. My only complaint is that both benches had 1 very small imperfection in its oil wood finish that I had to hide by applying some teak oil. Overall, I’d recommend this item for its nice spa look and very functional as a seat.

01.9.2025 Update - I cannot believe how well this bench has held up...were creeping up on 8 years and still looks and functions like new...and this is after 2 showers a day (wife and I) or more!! Trying to go back and update some of my other reviews but this one is easy. Great item that worth and value has far exceeded the price. Hat's off to you EcoDecors!! Almost 3-year update- someone voted my initial review as helpful so I thought I’d give an update. I’m still very impressed with the bench. It has held up so well despite daily use, possible abuse during (wife shaving legs, me sitting in the water after a long day, shower Olympics and whatnot) and is still by far one of the best values I’ve had. Would still by again however I doubt it will be to replace this because it has held up so well. Ordered this bench for our new shower based on other reviews. This thing has been awesome from the first opening of the package to nearly a month later with daily (sometimes multiple daily) use and I expect, because of the quality, for many years to come. Packaged really well with each individual piece wrapped in styrofoam sheets and an excellent set of detailed instructions. Took about 5 minutes to assemble. This is very high-quality Teak and very, very sturdy. The wood and the finish are such that water just rolls off of it. If i ever have the need, I will definitely look to DecoTeak again!
