I baught this for my mum who due to a stroke has lost the use of her right hand it gives grate support and is comfortable.

Does the job well used for damaged Tendons kept my hand straight helped with the pain .

Just taken delivery of this item today. I suffer from De Quervain's Tenosynovitis and even slight movement of the thumb in the wrong direction can be very painful indeed. I have been using compression gloves and a less robust wrist/thumb support. They gave some support but this splint/brace has almost completely immobilised my thumb. Just what the doctor ordered.

After trying cheaper splints, I now have no thumb extension and no wrist movement.... bliss. Thank you.

I like this product much better than the first split issued to me from the E.R. I broke my Scaphoid bone in hand and had to wear spica splint until hand surgery to repair. I am a nurse, so well aware as to function the splint had to meet. Worked great, more comfortable and first one I received had price of metal going all the way up side and into thumb, very uncomfortable and ended up somehow snapping that piece of metal in half part way up thumb which then repositions itself and digs into thumb. Not only painful but the repositioning could very well be counter productive. This new one does the same job, much more comfortable and no metal, (instead molded plastic- still in tact) and cheaper than trying to replace first one exactly on Amazon. 5 star product to this nurse.

Diagnosed with De Quervain's Tenosynovitis, brace given to me by the doctor was horrible. It covered the whole thumb and essentially made my hand into a useless club. I work in an office, lots of paperwork, you wouldn't believe how much you actually use a thumb when processing paperwork. Bought this brace and put it on and instantly knew that this was exactly what I needed. The wrist is braced and so is the thumb, but it doesn't cover the whole thumb so I can still use the thumb from the first knuckle and up, so big improvement. No more pain in my wrist, comfortable to wear all day and sleep in. I HIGHLY recommend this product.

A little bulky but did provide relief to my hand. I frequently get flair ups and when I do, I put this on and it definitely does the trick. I have slept in it several times and sometimes it can be uncomfortable but it does supply the support and structure and really stops my hand from throbbing at night. When I'm wearing it during the day I don't have much issues with it, and the velcro has stayed secure after several uses. Well made and would recommend.

When I was diagnosed with a tendon issue in my wrist, my orthopedic doctor recommended a wrist brace to help with the healing process. He did state that they would run the insurance, but it would probably come back over $100 or more. And he suggested if that was the case, to order directly through Amazon because it was the same brace that I would get through the office. As he thought insurance did approve but it was going to cost me $125. I ordered the brace through Amazon it was $28 with tax and it was absolutely perfect. My wrist healed wonderfully and I was very appreciative that my Doctor was so honest.
