I got to handle it and use it after I gave it to him so I could review it, and I have to say it's wonderful. It has really nice weight and balance, all the tools are easy to access and store easily, the hammer and everything else are top quality, and it doesn't feel like it's going to break while being used. I am going to be ordering one of these for myself to keep in my glove box in case of emergencies.

There are lot of gadgets that I find that I need when camping... can opener, bottle opener, axe for chopping wood etc. When packing each one of these individual tools, they start to take up a lot of space. I have been trying to be more minimalistic and pack smarter. This multitool is perfect; not only does it have numerous little tools that I need but the overall size is small, taking up very little packing space. The multitool has a durable cover to protect you from getting cut from the axe. This really is an essential camping necessity.

i wouldn't say all out camping gear. and you'd need to sharpen the ax after every other use, but this would make a great gift for almost anyoneit's so many uses and i love that we can add this to our bag and not take up so much room

This is cute: I like the small size, the fabric blade cover for the axe, and the sheath that it fits into.The knife is very sharp, I've already used the bottle opener, then found the screwdriver assembly a little awkward (push out the bits, insert into the hex slot on the axe head, hope there's enough clearance to actually use the screwdriver, etc. etc.)Kind of a novelty, would make a decent gift.

This is a fantastic multi tool! It is perfect survival tool, and great for camping as well. It has everything you pretty much need in it!An axe with sheath, hammer, knife, serrated knife, slotted screwdriver, can opener, hex wrench, bottle opener, wire cutter, flat jaw plier, regular plier, and a slotted and a Phillips screwdriver.The tool itself is lightweight and comes with a protective cover. There are truly so many uses for this!
