Does this require charging or does it start plugged during operation?

Love this massager! It does not have a battery. Plug in, push the start button, relax and enjoy!

The air pressure is only on the front of my foot near the ball of my feet and toes when on low and medium. Is this supposed to be how it functions?

NO,ONLY USED ON MED. AND HIGH AND AIR PRESSURE IS ON ENTIRE FOOT.

My husband has wide feet, does this fit wide feet?

My right foot has edema much more than my left foot. I normally wear a women's medium shoe. When really swollen I have to try and wear my XW shoes. I said try and most of the time I switch to my wide width bedroom slippers. With badly swollen right foot I can manage to still use my great foot massager. It is a little snug but feels so relaxing.
