Excellent Smoker Chips
Excellent smoker wood with amazing cherry flavor

Sweet, thick smoke
Use for my smoker on pork shoulders, Turkey, and other meats that I want to have a soft, sweet smoke added to them. Chunks are large so they last me a good while. I put mine in a cast iron pan to help keep an even heat and prevent them from igniting. Works great!

Perfect size, and good quality
I received a 10-pound box of cherry wood, and it is in very good condition. It has the bone-dry hardness of kiln-dried wood. The chunks are exactly the size I like for a lengthy and thorough smoke over the coals, without being too big to evenly cook down to the embers. Very happy with this delivery. I hope the quality will be the same on my next purchase as well.

Absolute Perfection
This IS exactly what I wood expect when I buy Cherry wood chips. These are nice large kiln dried chunks of cherry tree in a large box.. absolute beauty. WARNING: If you read 'Cherry Flavored Wood" on a product, it is NOT Cherry, but a bi-product of assorted wood chips and artificial cherry scent. Don't risk it. I'm using a propane vertical smoker and I set my temp to where the wood does not yet catch fire and produce carbon monoxide, but breaks down and smokes releasing the flavor goodness. So, I am very fussy about the wood I use and this wood is exactly what I need. Cherry is a light fruitwood among the gentlest flavors of smoked food, perfect for chicken or turkey. It was delivered 10min ago, and it is in the smoker now, heating. If you were here to see and smell it, you wood be sold. I wood recomend this product to anyone serious about smoking perfection.

Disappointing
Arrived much later than original estimates. Pictures are not accurate as chunk size extremely variable - so can’t use as just add-on to charcoal to get smoke - plus shows wood being used as stand-alone fuel source - is actually kiln dried so they recommend soaking before use so only works in combination with charcoal. Will not recommend
