Yes. It is translucent to the extent that you can see the beer and yeast sedimentation at the bottom. Because of this translucency it also protects the beer from UV light.

What is the height and diameter of the fermenter unpackaged?

The Diameter of the siphon less fermentation bucket is 30cm and the height is 45cm. These fermentation buckets are also stackable. They are food grade and come with an airlock. The lid has a built in silicon grommet and you can fix the airlock with just a push. You also get a 1 year warranty.

Cap Leaks , Not Airtight !

Not air tight , leaks , had to to use teflon tape to make it air tight , tough job , need to improve ! Not recommended for 500, too costly to fail ! Not worth 3500 ! Better using a cleaned old paint bucket wort 100 !

They're not air tight

The carbon dioxide is escaping through the lid, which means oxygen is entering in too. I'm not happy with it. Nought 3 as per their advertisement but useless

Top seal leaks

For the first 4 or 5 uses it was great. Then the seal started leaking. I have two of these....wish i didn't, they both leak. Using them to grow potatoes in! You have been warned.
