This is a miracle worker - after trying many prescriptions - saved my dog's leg, life and my heart
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was searching for a last resort help aid for my senior dog dealing with an infection in her leg. This was expensive for something that might or might not work after having tried so many prescriptions and vet visits, but I bought what I thought was a quality brand due to the tracking of the source and at the level of UMF and MGO rating that I thought would make a difference (I did a bit of online research). At first I used it along with other topical ointments including a strong prescription antibiotic that I had been using. I could see a difference, but once the prescription ended I began to use it solo and I wish I had tried that sooner. It began to heal and cause her less issue in a matter of days that I didnt see in weeks from prescriptions and other costly high end over the counter remedies for infections. This likely saved her leg, her life, and my heart. I would clean her leg thoroughly with a wound cleaner, let it dry, spray it with an over the counter germ killer and antiseptic pain killer for her comfort, let that dry, and then I would use a q-tip dipped in the honey to gently press the honey into the wound area. Then I would dress the wound with guaze and vet wrap, then covered by a cut adult sock lightly vet wrapped at the top to keep it up on her leg. It was quite an undertaking for a long time and until the honey was used little improvement. Sharing pictures would be horrible, so let me say there were times her vet and I discussed drastic measures and I prepared for emergency situations with her. Nothing would knock it out - it would start to heal but she'd have a set back and sometimes it was a struggle for her not being able to tolerate some meds only to then be given something to keep them down but make her drowsy and without an appetite. There was a lot of trial and error and little success. The honey was a last resort and I wish it had been the first for it worked and she wouldn't have had to go through everything else. The jar is small, as shown in many reviews, but for my use in using it topically it has been affordable and after the results it is more than worth the cost. I did hesitate to try it - wish now I had not. I did question as to if this was good enough to extend the process but I wanted to try and it worked for her. Now she is 98% healed, but I am still applying all over her healed and scared wound area, then covering to keep the infection at bay as I am not ready for her to be without what healed her. I know it was the honey as it was what I used solo that made the difference. If you are in a similar situation, it is worth trying and for me from now on this will be the FIRST thing I reach for when there is a need for healing in my family whether it is human or pets. Other items of interest: Taste: It tastes less sweet and more like a strong raw fresh honey - it is a different taste than honey you might buy for toast or tea but it is pleasant and good. Health benefits: I can imagine this would be a go to for me with any health issues or to keep on the healthy side of things. Right now it is being used to keep my senior dog healthy and infection free. I will continue to always have it on hand for any need we might have and would not hesitate to buy to use internally or externally. Color: It is a dark color and smells great. Texture: Very thick. I dip several qtips into it and set aside for topical use when dressing my dog's leg and it stays put on the qtip as I transfer it to her leg. Yeah, very thick. A little goes a long way, but I generously covered when using at first and now after healing lightly coat the area. Value for money: Worth every penny. Priceless to me as it saved her leg and possibly her life after trying many other veterinarian options from a vet that has worked miracles in the past - nothing was working to turn the tide fully until I used the honey. Thickness: As mentioned, very thick but would be easy to spread and easy to spoon out if needed. Hope this helps you make a decision and I would highly recommend and say try it sooner rather than later.

Leave it to a Natural cure for the Win!
My husband has been dealing with a pseudomonas aeruginosa infection since 2025. A surgeon friend, recommended the Manuka honey after he was prescribed Gentamycin, which he had a horrible reaction to, and we decided to give it a go. We have been using it for 3 weeks and we're finally seeing benefit in the right direction. I will be keeping this honey around my house all the time. It's amazing. Yes, it's pricey, but we believe it's worth the cost, because IT WORKS.

Manuka Honey, it's a good all-around must-have!
This Manuka honey is excellent! I use it for wound care and also as a natural sweetener in my coffee and tea. My doctor previously worked at a hospital where Manuka honey was used for wound care, which gave me confidence in trying it. The quality is outstanding, the flavor is rich and delicious, and I will definitely keep buying it.

Worth the price
I have been using it on my surgical wound and it is cleaning it up and closing up the wound very quickly and cleanly. I also was feeling like I was coming down with something on my right tonsil and I started taking this orally and within 2 days it’s gone. Very potent stuff. Small but worth it.

Potent, authentic Manuka honey in a perfect starter size
I picked up the New Zealand Honey Co. Raw Manuka Honey UMF 24+ (MGO 1122+) in the 4.4 oz starter size to try a high‑potency Manuka without committing to a large jar. The texture is thick and creamy with a rich, slightly herbal flavor that’s noticeably more intense than regular honey, so a small spoonful goes a long way. I like to take it straight off the spoon or stir a small amount into warm (not hot) tea when I feel run‑down or have a scratchy throat. What sold me is that it’s UMF‑certified and tested in New Zealand, with the UMF 24+ and MGO 1122+ clearly labeled, which makes it easier to trust the purity and strength compared with generic “Manuka” honey. The brand is also well‑regarded for quality and consistency, and the smaller jar size is great if you’re new to high‑grade Manuka or only use it occasionally. The only downside is the price, but given the potency and the fact that you only need a little at a time, I see it as an investment product rather than an everyday sweetener. I would repurchase this starter size and recommend it to anyone wanting to experience strong, authentic Manuka honey.

Pricey product-look for other local, raw medical quality honey.
The product works very well but is quite expensive. Another brand can provide similar results. Update: I have not found another product that works so well as this honey. The medicinal benefits of this product for me are quite obvious. Other people have reported similar results with local raw honey. If I find a less expensive alternative for myself I'll be happy. Until then, this is the product for my rare purchase.

Liquid gold
Its a little smaller than I thought, but it tastes like liquid gold. Ive taken manuka honey in various potencies for general health. Most recently I was taking MGO 850, I cant remember the brand. Ive tried higher potency in the 1000 as well just to try it, but yes it is pricy. I specifically purchased this high potency manuka honey for a throat injury. I had an accident and swallowed something (accidentally) and it lodged in my throat. Had to be under anesthesia to remove it, anyway, it was unpleasnt and abrasive and since i sing soprano and verge on opera and do some voice acting, i didn't want to take a risk and thought this should resolve any possible scarring etc. The first two days i was drinking raw organic honey from the bottle which is actually very soothing and helpful, but ultimately knew this would be the best option and the price is fair, though small, its what I need to recover the possible esophagus damage more quickly and throughly. Not to mention i have to move out of my apartment due to a neighbor smoking in our non smoking building. Besides fresh air, pure water and exercise, this is the ticket to health. To reiterate, this tastes like liquid gold. It is so smooth, sweet and sticky and very soothing. I dont know about other wound care, but it is working wonders for the minor injury i have which i hope will have perfect recovery without damage to my esophagus and back to singing in several weeks as time is also needed to heal.

Beautiful healing honey .
I don’t know what some of the fuss is about.I received my beautiful honey today and couldn’t be happier it arrived in immaculate condition, in a security tamper proof pot.The use by date is late 2029 and when opened was just lovely . I use it for medical reasons on diabetic ulcers and it’s wonderful. Amazon have been fantastic with this delivery as my first was delivered to the wrong address, so I couldn’t be happier. This is my first try of this brand as it’s GMO is higher than others so I have great hopes.
