Super comfortable
Ordered these for a Philmont trek with boy scouts. Wore them a couple days ago prior to the trip and then hiked 59 miles in 6 days. I have feet issues and have suffered from plantar fasciitis and these boots were awesome. I had zero feet issues on the trek. That was July 2023. I’ve worn them pretty consistently since on the daily for work and they’re just now getting worn out. These boots can handle some mileage and the comfort level exceeds the several other brands I tried

Like so much I bought a backup pair
I really like these light and very comfortable shoes . These required no break in and were comfortable right out of the box which is very rare . After wearing them about a month with no problems I bought another pair for backup for when these wear out or break down which ever comes first. They say waterproof on the outside of the back of the heel and they are in fact waterproof as I have found out . I'm not a hiker but I wear them for everything else and am very satisfied with them and recommend them . UPDATE; I've been wearing these shoes for 10 months now which even included a Vermont winter and have found them to be a great boot , Still waterproof and going strong . No rips or frays but the tread on the soles are wearing down but I'm wearing them daily and will until I see a reason to dump them and put on the spare pair that I bought because I like them so much.

Best Hiking shoes I’ve owned
I absolutely love these shoes. Bought them for a trip to Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and Zion. I’ve put on about 40-50 miles in these shoes, with mixed miles on dirt and streets. About half these miles were with my 35lb 3 year old, and 8lb carrier on my back. They have been great. No pain in my feet, felt completely stable, and comfortable. Couple times on my hikes I stepped wrong and the boot saved me from rolling my ankle. As for the waterproof feature, I can back it 100%. On our trip, we had rain, snow, mud, hiked several miles in snow, and a play day in the snow. With my pants tucked in the shoes, my feet stayed dried the whole time. A few times snow was up to my shins and I was fine. After an hour I did feel the cold, but again my feet stayed dried. Only issue I had with the shoes, is due to the toe box being kind of narrow. If my socks are not perfectly on, I can feel the toe seem of my socks rubbing the shoes. I only get that feeling with narrow shoes. With these I just have to readjust my socks and I’m fine. Highly recommend them. Another big plus, they were pretty easy to clean Zion mud off of.

Great shoes, comfy for 10+ mile day hikes, some fraying/ tearing nothing detrimental.
Bought these shoes and wore them regularly before hiking through Zion National park. Very comfy and grippy over sandy rocks, wet rocks, mud, everything these shoes did it all. After 2 days i noticed some fraying along the waterproofing on the outside of the shoe and with a lighter i burned the fraying away and it hasn't come back since, i think it was just from the constant movement and environment. I did get a hole in the waterproofing from a rock, but it didn't seem to effect it much after walking though puddles and standing in a few inches of water i nvm felt my socks get wet. Are these comfy and great for moderate hiking? yeah these are awesome and check the boxes. Will these get you through something as rigorous as the entirety of the Appalachians? Probably not.

Falls apart, not waterproof, heavy, thick foam, constricts not supports ankle. RIP OFF
They began to flake and tear IMMEDIATELY so they lost any “waterproofing” they are also very thick foam and earned me the nickname “paddle foot”I took a gamble on these and I lost.Columbia is very difficult 4-6 weeks before you can get money back on warranty. And I HAVE TO PAY TO SHIP THESE BROKEN SHOES AND “CLEAN THEM” I’m FURIOUS!WHAT SHOES AM I GOING TO WEAR?!? I cannot afford to buy new shoes after blowing the whole wad on shoes that blew out within DAYSWell I bought some cheap ones from target that are blowing these out of the water (and actually waterproof for less than half of what these cost)The tips started to peel off very quickly, and I started bringing grass into my house and my cat ate it.It also is VERY heavy foam. They look and say lightweight, but compared to say Salomon, they are HEAVY. The foam is hot, and they do NIT support your ankle, instead the way it is constructed, it has on tight spot around the top of the ankle and nothing rigid underneath and that digs into you ankle like tying a stri g around your ankle. The tips peel off, causing a trip hazard and get filled with crap, and as those peel off you will get crack on the toe because the material is brittle and not at all flexible. These are by far the most expensive BAD “boots” I have ever purchased. We will see if I can get my money back. I have my doubts.Maybe I might get some “store credit” so I can enjoy another pair of god awful footwear only to have to buy another pair a couple weeks later.Customer service has been EXTREMELY unhelpful.I am simply out 100 bucks and a pair of shoes. If you’re going to wear maybe 2 hours a day to look outdoorsy, sure.If your trying to buy shoes to use as shoes… BUY SOMETHING ELSE!

A nice boot that can endure very rough terrain
I wore these on a recent trip to Galapagos and Machu Picchu. I was so glad to have the additional support around my ankles. I walked over very rough lava rock and these boots had great grip. I never slipped in these even on wet rocks. I looked at the soles and they were not chewed up by the sharp lava rock. At home, I washed them and the removable insoles. They don't seem to have any odor issues. I found that light socks are the most comfortable. Heavier socks give a snugger fit, which I find uncomfortable if I'm sitting for long periods, e.g. on a plane. Putting them on and removing require you to loosen the top half of the laces. They tie neatly, but require you to do a final knot with the loops to keep them from dragging on the ground. They stayed tied and snug during hours of hiking. These are light boots, and water tight. The color I chose is great, and I think these are a great buy for the occasional hikes.

Comodidad, suela y waterproof
