DERMA E Ultra Lift Firming DMAE Day & Night Cream, 2 Oz Face Moisturizer

I have been using this moisturizer for approximately a month now, along with the face wash, serum, and eye cream in the same line. The cream is luxurious and a little more on the thicker side so you don't need very much at all. It spreads easily across your entire face and neck. So start with a small amount. I have extremely sensitive skin, and this does come with a lavender scent, that is fairly strong, but it does not bother my skin or cause any breakouts whatsoever. The smell does not linger either it does go away after a few minutes. This is absolutely a great value for your buck, the entire line is fairly priced in my opinion. And it actually works, I do see some lifting and skin tightening going on, after having lost a significant amount of weight. I have been struggling to find beauty products that actually work and help with the lifting and tightening, and this is doing the trick. I am just over the moon. You do of course, as with anything, have to be consistent. Also, I would recommend to use this as a night cream rather than a day cream. As it is a bit more heavy and keeps your face moisturized for a super long time. I do not use it under makeup I use a lighter cream in the mornings and then this at night, and then as the final step I use my roc night time serum capsules to seal it all in. That's just how I prefer to do it. I absolutely recommend the moisturizer.

I use this product faithfully! I love it! not sticky lightweight but not to light but not too heavy either.. I can see a different in my forehead the wrinkles are not as deep and my skin is so soft. I highly recommend this product along with the serum and cleanser! And wears very well under makeup! I think it makes my makeup look better..And you can't beat the price. I think more people should be talking about it. That is how much I love it! Oh my neck is a little firmer too.

I have used thus cream for many years, its a nice texture and goes on easily. I also use the stem cell eye cream.

I don’t know that this has had any sort of lifting benefit but I will say my skin texture improved pretty much immediately. I was using retinaldehyde at night and this in the morning and did notice a big difference in texture when I ran out of this and used something else for a few days. During my first two months of using this + Mychelle retinaldehyde I saw a dermatologist about my sagging upper eyelid and he complimented my skin texture and told me to keep doing whatever I’m doing. Now I’m using tretinoin at night and this in the morning and my skin texture looks really fantastic! Oh and I love the scent of this, I do realize some folks are scent sensitive but I love a nice lavender smell personally and since I wear lavender often it works well for me.

This is a mixed review. I've used "Derma-e Firming DMAE Moisturizer with Alpha Lipoic Acid and C-Ester" AND and ordered it from Amazon for several years and I love it--5 stars! Goes on nicely under makeup and I receive compliments on my complexion. I have sensitive skin and I've been so loyal to this product. However, today's 1-star rating is due to instead receiving "Derma-e Ultra Life Firming DMAE Moisturizer with Copper Peptides and Resveratrol, Kakadu Plum." I don't take any copper supplements (that's a whole other subject) so the 'copper peptides' ingredient would entail some research. I've never heard of this particular Derma-e product. After no luck with Amazon's robot, I talked with a real person who was quite nice. I'll receive a credit on my account in about a week, and even though I offered to return the unopened box if it was postage-paid, he said there was no need to return it. My purchase page states this is an Amazon's Choice product, sold and shipped by Amazon. If I'm feelin' lucky, perhaps I'll order again from a different seller... but for now I'm back to square one. Incidentally, I searched for Derma-e TONER with DMAE, alpha lipoic acid and C-ester to order along with the moisturizer, and it doesn't appear to be available anymore at least on Amazon. A shame. Update on 11 March 2022: Well, I gave it a try--the wrong moisturizer sent to me--since I was told to keep the jar. I have sensitive skin and while I didn't get a reaction, this product appears to be drying, not moisturizing. Update 25 April 2022: Derma e's customer service verified that indeed, Firming DMAE Moisturizer - Alpha Lipoic Acid Face Moisturizer has been discontinued and has the copper peptide product instead. So, the trio I bought for years--moisturizer, facial wash, and toner is no more. I'm looking for another product/company now.

I started using this almost a month ago and am so pleased with the results. I'm 40ish, have melasma, and mild adult acne. I was previously using Clinique, Estee Lauder, and the Bliss line, of which the moisturizer and eye cream together were $149. My skin was just making me sad. It seemed every time I applied my makeup it just aged me... and I really need makeup to cover the issues. Within two nights of using this I noticed a difference. It didn't make my acne flare up, my skin looked plumper, and my makeup looked smooth and even. My husband told me the other night that it looked as if my melasma was lightening up and that's saying something. Although the smell is something that might take you a little getting used to, the benefits completely make it worth it. I apply this immediately after Hyaluronic Acid Serum 100% Pure by Cosmedica Skincare- Intense Hydration + Moisture, Non-greasy, Paraben-free Hyaluronic Acid for Skin (Professional Formula) and my skin is no longer flaking and all the tiny little lines on my cheeks are gone. This was the first product by Derma E that I've tried, but since using this I've purchased the derma e Hyaluronic Acid Night Crème, 2-Ounces , the Derma E Natural Bodycare Hyaluronic Hydrating Cleanser, 6-Ounce , and also the Derma E: Evenly Radiant Overnight Peel With Alpha Hydroxy Acids, 2 Oz . Since switching from Bliss to Derma E and Reviva (really great product line, too!) my skin is better than it's been in years AND I'm saving money. Win-win!

the "results" of these things are so subtle, I don't know if I can evaluate any beauty creams by their effect on my skin, to be fair. What I can say about this is that it has a heavy perfume that gives me a headache and makes me feel generally bad. Also, it isn't moisturizing enough to moisturize my skin without adding jojoba oil. It dries dry. Some moisturizers dry oily or tacky or moist, but this dries just dry, on my skin. It is like I haven't moisturized. I hate that it comes in a cream jar and you have to dip into it, but it is represented that way and you know what you're getting into. I prefer a much more sanitary squeeze-tube or pump. I believe the chemicals are helpful in making my skin look better, and that is what I care about most, so I use this stuff anyway. I honestly can't evaluate whether it is working, but I believe it should be worth using because of the promising scientific evidence for its ingredients and the positive reviews.

This really helps keep the little bumps/skin thickening under control. I ran out for a while and stopped using this and really noticed a difference in the texture of my skin. Happily, as soon as I got more the texture of my skin smoothed out again. When you first use it, it may sting a bit. Saying I love this cream would be an understatement. It has less chemicals than most creams, doesn't make my skin even more red and lasts for a really long time.

I love the intensity of the lavender smell and the cream moisturises and makes the skin feel sooo soft. I would definitely recommend.
