Yes, it fits a regular saddle and would fit on a mountain bike. It fits 27.2mm size seat tube, but would also fit a larger seat tube with an adapter that you could get online or at your local bike shop.

No, the seatpost is 27.2mm standard round diameter so it will not fit your bike

Q: Wait wait wait, seems like a great idea, but is this basically like moving the seat itself forward on the rails? It looks like it just moved it up!

The dual-position mechanism moves the saddle 50 mm forward and 12 mm up when in the forward aero position. By moving up as it moves forward, it preserves the same distance between the saddle and the bottom bracket so you keep your optimum pedal stroke when riding in either the road or the aero positions.

Q: So i have a Trek mountain bike will it fit?

Yes, provided your seat tube takes a 27.2mm diameter seatpost, OR if your Trek takes a larger diameter seatpost (which is more likely) then you need to get a shim to use with this seatpost.
