D’Addario Nexxus 360 Clip-On Tuner

Have quite a few guitar tuners lying around, which allows for losing one and then finding another one!Bit like picks.....So have have tried quite a few types. This one seems to be accurate enough and agrees with the average shown by a number of other tuners. So happy with that.The size - this is the smallest tuner I have owned, ok smallness can be convenient, but this is just too easy to lose, and of course harder to find! Going to put a yellow stipe on its back!Consequently due to its size, the controls are difficult to use .The way of setting the reference frequency is beyond stupid, worse it comes with no instructions - None!So you need to go on to the internet to find out, and even then its not easy. Fortunately not something you alter a lot.The actual tunning is not bad and does pick up the low E reasonable well. The direction of tuning (above or below) makes sense.Battery life seems reasonable and charges fairly quickly.One good point is that the display is reasonably bright, was able to tune outside on a sunny day (in UK so a rare test!).No options for different instrument tunning such as ukulele. But to be honest always use the Chromatic setting anyway on the other tuners, but might be missed by beginners. Again guess this is due to the small display size.Similarly no gimmicks such as a metronome or tunning tones.The big downside is the price, one of the more expensive ones. Suspect paying for the name?The other downside its doesn't use a modern C USB charging socket, but this is probably due to the size of the unit, but a cable is supplied.Would I buy again - Probably, just for its brightness.

As a guitar teacher, I've tried many types of clip-on tuner, some great and some awful. If you want something that's rechargeable, with a bright display, a simple on/off button (frequency can be altered but not by accident) and a tuner which will tell you what the note is (chromatic), then this is for you. I now recommend this to all my students, as it's perfect for all guitarists without all the confusing settings.

Neat tuner. Seems pretty accurate and is easy to read. Holds charge well. Lasted months! Worth the extra over cheap models and no more coin batteries to buy.

The Nexxus 360 is a good and simple to use. I have given it 4 stars only because there are minimal instructions and initially I thought that there was a problem as it appeared not to charge via tha usb connector. I have since found that the usb connector needed to be pushed FULLY home to connect the charging cable correctly, it does need a good push to insert it correctly. That aside, with it's full 360 degree movement it is very useable for all needs.

Small. Accurate. Rechargeable. I have owned many tuners since the 80's and these are a great evolution of the clip on. I bought one, then another and retired my old tuners. These are the best yet.

Great quality and better than any other clip-on tuner I've tried

Not the cheapest, but far better than any others I’ve tried. It’s very small and compact, the on/off switch is obvious and easily accessible, the display is bright under all conditions, tuning super precise, and the battery actually holds it’s charge for a long period, unlike many alternatives. That’s all you need.

Ich hatte mir zuerst den TC Elec. UniTone gekauft und das Teil hat mich wahnsinnig gemacht, weil es nach 3 Minuten ausgeht und der kleine Knopf zum einschalten die Hölle ist. Auf YT ein Video gesehen, dass den D’Addario PW-CT-26 dagegen hält und was soll ich sagen; das Teil ist für mich perfekt! Schnell und präzise, die Anzeige gefällt mir auch besser und das auch noch einen Akku mit USB-C Anschluß verbaut ist... Hammer!

This tuner is accurate, has a very clear display which shows when it is in tune or not. It’s bright and I can read it easily at the end of my electric guitar, mandolin, or base. It’s a superior tuner-I’ve owned three other brands which are not as accurate, are not as easy to use, and none are nearly as bright as this one. Plus, it’s rechargeable and the charge lasts a very long time. I haven’t charged mine yet and it’s being a few weeks of heavy use, yet the built-in battery indicator says fully charged. I highly recommend this as a cut above, even if it’s a few bucks more. It’s worth it in this case!

This little tuner has survived some major drops. Its battery life is amazing. And it functions in loud environments. Honestly, I’m shocked at how well this thing has held up.
