Aoxun110" Motorized Projector Screen - Indoor and Outdoor Movies Screen 110 inch Electric 16:9 Projector Screen W/Remote Control

Using the screen for about a month in a light controlled room. Couldn't be happier. Paired with an Epson 3800 and Samsung 4k play and Sony 3D player. Kids have now religiously asked for movie night each weekend. The big picture is emersive.

Works great for using in our backyard. The remote is a nice feature especially if the plug is on the ceiling. When the screen is down it’s free hanging in front of windows and doors to the living room. The picture does not penetrate the screen and has been wrinkle free. Picture quality is good but to be fair I bought a very low priced projector(~$250) to pair with this. I didn’t know that was a low priced projector until researching to buy. Since it does well with that projector I am sure it would be superb with an even higher quality as well. But the two of them create a great alternative to sitting inside all the time.

The screen is functional pretty much as advertised. The power cord is too short and will not reach an outlet directly below it unless the screen is hung too low. About 8 inches of cord are lost due to stupid design - lines in and out of the control box come out the top. The descending line has to go up and make a 180 bend down. Of course, that is the side closest to the screen causing minor interference if you want the highly visible cord to look vertical. No installation dimensions given in the instructions prompting a return to the Amazon specs which are wrong. This large screen is installed with only 1-1/4 drywall screws per the instructions. So far it has not ripped out of the wall.

It appears that all of these screens are made by one company and sold under various names. The screen I received had a significant dent in the metal housing. The screen material itself had some small wrinkles which were not very noticeable at viewing distance. However, the screen has a very strong chemical smell when you bring it down for the first time. You'll probably want to air out your room and the screen to get rid of the smell. The mounting hardware is subpar and I would strongly recommend that you buy dedicated mounting hardware (drywall anchors, etc) to mount the screen with. Also, the power cable and wired remote cables are both located on the same side of the remote which is odd looking if you're using a power outlet that's closer to the ground. Trying to exchange the damaged screen for a different one was more of a hassle than it should have been. Bottom line, since all of these screens appear to be made by the same manufacturer and relabeled, pick the cheapest one in the size that you need.
