Does the backpack include a charger ? Do I need the usb cord to plug it in?

Inside the bag, there is a usb cable to connect to the power bank. Doing so will allow the user to use the female plug positioned outside the bag. A usb cable will nevertheless be required to receive power from the female plug to your device.

How long does the charge last and how long does it take to fully charge backpack

The backpack does NOT bring a charger itself... it brings a usb cable (female in the outside and male in the inside), so you can plug into a portable batery charcher. I bought it for my wife and she uses it every day and love it... its really confortable, the computer pocket really protects it...

is this backpack big enough for a middle schooler?

It works for my middle schoolers, but they don’t have textbooks. The students use laptops, and then for ELA they use small paperbacks. This backpack works great for a laptop, a binder or folders, some loose paper or pads, small pencil case, etc. Would not work so well for kids/schools who still use several large textbooks around like when I was growing up.
