For the price, excellent.
This is a weighty item. If appears strong, straight and true.It is less well engineered than the more expensive and branded alternative. There is no distortion/jjaws meet correctly, but the castings are a little rough around the edges. However, don't expect any change from £100 for a "branded" option." I paid £24 in. P&P, for this item.The application of some grease and some judicious filing will improve matters noticeably. The most improvement is to the rotation mechanism which is okay/functional, but a little cruder than, by way of example, Stanley vices.So with a big of fettling, you will have a strong and serviceable vice that will be of use in any DIY workshop/garage.Three mounting points and not four is okay, but unusual?Two securing nuts to the rotation is also strange, but probably best for the 360 degree rotation.I am happy - recommended.N. B. Delivery was good/ahead of schedule.

Surprisingly nice quality
Well engineered and nicely machined, I was surprised at the quality for the very reasonable price. The jaws open wide and have a powerful grip. It certainly looks like it should give many years of good service.

On time as expected, and the fact that I can swivel it 90 degrees is perfect.

Don’t buy the smaller one if you want to do any work with it.
I purchased this Vice to replace the smaller 4” (100mm) that I bought a couple of months ago which had broken whilst using it. I was only trying to remove a seized stud from a motorcycle cylinder head and the cast iron main section just snapped in two. I think this larger Vice should have a lot more strength. It certainly seems strong enough for my needs and is certainly heavy enough. I probably won’t ever use the rotating facility but should I one day need it I suppose it is handy to be there. In summary it is a good Vice for the money but don’t expect it to be as strong as a more expensive one despite it looking the part.
