Can someone desceibe the flavor of this cocoa powder?

The flavor is rich and has a sweetness, though no sugars are noted in content. The color is very DARK. Wonderful taste.

Is the ghirardelli majestic premium cocoa powder the same as in the 8 ounce ghirardelli chocolate unsweetened cocoa pouch?

No. The 8-oz pouch is "regular" chocolate powder. This is Dutch-processed. It is much darker in color, has a higher fat-content, and is much "richer" tasting.

I'm looking for something to make a starbucks mocha latte. i don't want somethong overly sweet. anyone used this for a mocha?

Starbucks uses a mixture of dark cocoa powder and light. I found using only dark cocoa makes the drink too bitter. It needs some regular cocoa powder to round the edges and add depth. I use 60% Majestic and 40% Chocolate & Cocoa powders. Try 100% Majestic first and adjust to taste.
