This was my first time building a model. I was prepared for it to be challenging since other reviewers indicated you have to put everything tiny thing together. They were not exaggerating! You have to roll paper to create roses, fold and glue fabric and stuff them to make pillows, and fold paper to make books. Insane! But it was exactly what I was looking for so I absolutely loved it!! A couple things: you need craft glue with a precision tip. I used Bearly Art and it worked great and dries clear. I also used a glue gun for items that I didn’t want to wait for the glue to dry but be careful, bc you have to move fast with a glue gun. I also needed scotch tape to stick the paper templates to the fabric before cutting. I also need wire strippers to finish the last step to wire the lights to the batteries. Get craft scissors and an exacto knife or box cutter with extra blades. A hard metal ruler to cut against and a self healing cutting mat helps too. I ended up skipping the slippers, not enough patience for those LOL! But I wasn’t missing anything. I also got extra fabric, beads and wires so there was more than enough of all supplies to finish. I messed up a couple pillows and still had enough to replace them. The bad: instructions are horrible! They were not translated to English well so It’s hard to follow the written parts. They are not step by step, but look more like a storyboard. So look through all the instructions first, grouping the materials together before you start gluing anything. I flipped thru the instructions a lot as I went along to make sure I was going things correctly. All in all, I loved it and would absolutely do another.

I bought this for my 11.5 year old for Christmas and although it is too hard for her alone we have worked on it together and it has become a great project! My 13 year old has now ordered a similar one.

This is my first model, so it was a bit challenging for me. That said, I got help with it and we are enjoying the process. The instructions are pretty detailed and I love the design. I'm going to skip over the music box bit, but I can't wait for this to be finished. I absolutely love it. I'm going to modify the lights so the whole thing is battery operated and connect it to my “internet of things” so I can turn it on with a remote.

It didn't come with the glue that normally comes with these kids and you can't find that glue anywhere you can't buy it online you can't even find a manufacturer that makes that glue I know it's an alcohol based glue made out of China that's it that's all you're better off to stick to brand names like DIY and Rolife those are value for your money.
