Awful taste which outweighs any benefits for me!
I got these Tonics as quite frankly I’m getting on a bit, am a shift worker which takes its toll and in the current climate with Covid-19 very much a threat, I thought that anything that could boost my immune system was worth a go.The product arrives well packaged in a branded box that contains the individually sealed 30 x sachets of tonic powder with each sachet delivering the following stated nutritional benefits:Vitamin C - 1,500mg - 1,875% Nutrient Reference ValueVitamin D3 - 30 micro grams - 600% Nutrient Reference ValueZinc - 25mg - 250% Nutrient Reference ValueRiboflavin (Vitamin B2) - 2.1mg - 150% Nutrient Reference ValueLemon Juice Powder - 150mgGinger Extract - 200mgThe packaging instructs you to mix the contents of the sachet with 350ml of hot (not boiling) or cold water and I tried mine with cold. The powder mixed well with the water but on tasting the mix I immediately wretched! The taste is horrendous - it’s hard to describe but was totally unpalatable to me however, given the apparent benefits, I gritted my teeth and finished the glass which was extremely difficult and left me feeling quite sick for a while afterwards.Looking at other reviews, they suggest the taste is better if mixed with hot water, which does make sense (hot lemon drinks are pretty common) but I just cannot bring myself to try this again - regardless of the benefits! There are also other flavours available (but I won’t be trying any!)Rather cruelly, I did get my partner to try a sachet without giving her an indication of my thoughts (for a second opinion!) and she had exactly the same reaction! She again tried hers with cold water and despite holding her nose to try to mask the taste, she could not stomach this either and ended up pouring half away! Then we come to the price, currently £21.99 for the pack of 30 sachets which I think is a bit steep. It equates to 73p a sachet and if you were to have one a day, would cost you just over £267 per year!! I can’t help thinking there would be a multi-vitamin or something else on the market that would deliver similar benefits for a lot less money? In terms of star rating, I have given this product two stars and my rationale for this is that if you can stomach the taste and are comfortable with the price then the nutritional benefits stated are on paper quite high. Clearly this product is not for me but I am mindful that in the right circumstances, it may be beneficial and work for you (hence the second star!).

Taste better with warm water
I have mixed feelings about this product. At first I could stand the taste, I mixed it with cold water and the taste was so strong and very gingery with a bit of honey. Couldn’t drink it so I decided to try it with warm water as on packaging they recommend to use cold or warm water. Warm it taste much better, more like a infusion tea or something like that. Very warming and would be perfect for winter time.I decided to use them once a day to boost my immune system while recovering after really bad cold. To be honest, I didn’t notice any improvements since using it. It so hard to say are they working or not as it very individual matter. In my case it didn’t but it still worth to try.

Seems a good product but I didn't like the flavour.
I was pleased to try this 'Tonic High Dose Immunity Drink, 30x Immune Booster Sachets, Multivitamins High Strength Mix of Vitamins C, D, Zinc & Plant Extracts, for Health Protection & Energy Boost - Lemon & Honey'.1. You get a black, branded cardboard presentation box and inside are 30 small sachets of the high dose immunity drink, information about their other products and a card with immune health tips.2. You mix a sachet into 350mls of hot but not boiling, or cold water, I measured it out and mixed it in a jug first and it needed quite a large glass to fit 350mls. It mixed quickly and well.3. Now the important part - the taste. I am afraid i did not like it much at all - I got an overwhelming sweetness from the stevia that hung around for ages afterwards, also honey that comes as a honey flavouring and is quite intense. I did not get lemon or ginger - a slight sharpness though. I did drink it down quickly, after the first taste but I did not find it enjoyable, like I had been expecting. I will finish them up though so as not to waste them.4. Each sachet contains 1500mg/1875%NRV Vitamin C, 30ug/600% Vitamin D3, 25mg/250% Zinc, 2.1mg/150% Riboflavin B2, lemon juice powder and ginger powder. It says to take one per day when your immune system needs support. The best before date on mine are 9.6.2022.5. I would not buy as I personally do not like the flavour but it seems a good product, especially for someone who can't take tablets well.6. The current price of £21.99 is a little expensive, in my opinion, as it works out at 73 pence per sachet.

Effective but not a big fan of the taste....
I have been taking this supplement by Tonic daily for the last week now and the results I have experienced have been very positive. In a nutshell, I have been experiencing a lot less fatigue and have felt a lot more focused during the day. I have replaced my daily coffees with this supplement and found that it gave me a more genuine boost of natural energy. Now I have just 1 coffee a day to stay awake and focused rather than 3 which I’m very happy about. This supplement is very practical as you can easily take a sachet too work. It literally fits in your pocket and is super easy and simple to dissolve in water. I found that pouring the powder into a 500ml bottle of fresh water and shaking did the job and I usually drink it on the way to work. The taste isn’t the best in my opinion and the honey flavour is a little bizarre. It reminds me of those artificial honey sweets I used to have in the past but once you get over it, it’s really not that bad at all. This is also a lot more effective than tablets as the drink will go directly into your blood stream almost immediately so you should start to feel the effects after about 10 minutes.Overall, 4 stars as for the price I would’ve wanted a more enjoyable taste, though still a very good supplement and worth trying out!Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

Immune boost
I’ve not been feeling great over the last couple of days run down with a cold. This was a great opportunity to start using these Tonic immune booster sachets. The first time I tried it with cold water. The recommended amount of water is 350ml so will require a larger cup. I poured the sachet into the water expecting it to dissolve straight away however the power pretty much just sat floating on top. Even after mixing vigorously with a spoon, it wasn’t dissolving as quick as I wanted it to, The best way Is to pour the sachet in and leave it for a good few minutes and then mix.I must admit it’s not a very pleasant smell or taste. I was a bit put off by it however managed to take it all down. The next day I decided to try it with hot water, the powder dissolved quicker and the taste was a bit more pleasant. It’s a bit like drinking Lemsip however this lemon and honey mix just tastes a lot more potent and like it was caramelised too.I did feel a little more perked up after drinking this stuff. I can’t comment on whether this has helped speed up my recovery, it’s been a few days since I’ve been drinking this in the daytime and I’m feeling a lot better. I trust that the product is delivering on its promises.
