Rugged, works every time
We camp way off road. We have 2 stoves. The other a common brand. This is an industrial strength, very well made, consistent performing camp stove.

Exceptional camp stove!!
I couldnโt be more happy with this camp stove for car (truck) camping. Boiling water was SUPER fast. On the other side I warmed up pre-cooked sausages. Thereโs plenty of room. My favorite part is the built in ignition. Starting the stove is a breeze. I feel extremely pleased with my decision to purchase the Everest 2!! NOTE: I bought mine as a refurbished unit. I was disappointed the unit did NOT come with the attachment to the gas cylinder. You would think they would have corrected that error when the stove was returned. I had to order the part directly from Camp Chef to make the stove complete. Amazon reimbursed me for the price of the part but that was a pretty junior varsity effort by them. It gives me some caution when considering other refurbished products. Fortunately for me, it wasnโt urgent but if I was going on a trip sooner, I would have been extremely unhappy. That said, I very highly recommend this exceptional camp stove!!

Plenty of BTU, fits up to two 10" pots or pans.
I purchased this last year to replace a much larger Camp Chef 3-burner stove that had become to big/heavy to carry after our grandkids stopped camping with us so often as they entered high school sports. We wanted something much smaller, but with plenty of BTU. This Everest 2X fits that role perfectly. I also purchased an Ignik 3.8 Lb propane tank with case and adapter hose. Both are light weight and set up easily. The steel grate is solid and stable. I have used the Everest 2X for over a year now and it ignites quickly, has plenty of heat, and will accommodate up to 10" wide pans or pots. It is also easy to clean as the under burner surface is stainless steel. Well worth the money for a solid design.

Great control of heat.
Firstly, it is true that this unit has high quality flow control. It can go real hot and be set low very easily and consistently. I find the ridged tank connector a bit cumbersome. I also wish it did not rattle when the stove is stored while driving. Easy to put something soft to mitigate noise, but I wish something was built in. Overall, I think this is a great stove!

Good unit
Very happy with the unit. Lighter unit works well. Starts easily, even in breezy conditions. Used other 2 burner units and this one heats quickly and has adequate space.

Outstanding stove!
Outstanding stove, really happy with it! The only downside is the connector is not compatible with aftermarket regulator hoses so you are stuck with the bar / pipe type that comes with it. But it isnt really an issue. Blows the coleman stoves away, high performing high BTU burners. Kind of expensive but if you catch it used or on sale scoop one up.

A blow torch
This is a fantastic stove. The valves allow you to do a bare simmer to a roaring inferno. My only and minor grip is that this unit is physically bigger then the original Everest. I will not pack into my Home Deport 17 gallon tub that contains other outdoor kitchen accouterments. The Everest does fit.

Hot stove
This stove gets a lot hotter than my old Coleman! The two burner stove is just the right size to put on the end of the picnic table when camping. It seems solid, and should last awhile. It is heavier than the Coleman. It's easy to assemble to the propane. The igniter works well, and is very convenient.

Expensive but worth every penny
Works like a charm. Boils fast and simmers gently. Sometimes had trouble with the surge valve on the cylinder so had to open the cylinder valve and burner valve slowly.

Very nice. Cadillac of stoves!
I ordered Dec. 02/2022 and it came by Amazon Dec. 09/2022 I paid CDN$ 276.11 with Amazon prime and taxes. It has gone up to way too much now. Everyone told me I paid way too much even though good quality. Now price gone up to $340 days after I ordered. So far so good, it works fine, and can go to a low simmer.
