i bought this and found that it was very good tasting. Its pricey though.. But then again how many alligators do you see in your front yard? Someone has to do the dirty work. I think its a great gift for some of those city slickers that have never tasted alligator. Dehy foods are great to make yourself a emergency food packet out of. I carried one in my trunk in Maine and never worried about snow bound days. If you wanted dessert they sell ice cream bars that are dehy. I like this product the best becuase its unique..

Gator jerky was too hard , not able to chew it. Good flavor but had to throw it out because I could not eat it. Very small portion, not way at I expected.

Not bad, tastes like any random jerky you can get at a 7-11. Not worth the price for the amount they give. I’ll say that the last piece I ate did have good taste of alligator. 1 piece out four or five pieces that you get!! Not worth the price but delivered a day early which was nice. (3 stars for the early delivery)

I bought this expecting a different taste then beef jerky but it tasted just like it. There is a bit of a different aftertaste then beef jerky but still pretty delicious. For future buyers, the meat is pink more like salmon jerky but there is no fishy smell or taste

But not much in bag for price.

This stuff tastes like what I’d expect from alligator (slightly fishy chicken-like meat). However, it’s so hard like chewy plastic that it takes a bit of chewing before you can actually start tasting the seasoning and meat. Also, given the quantity and subpar taste and texture, this seems way too overpriced. I might be biased, since I’ve only ever had alligator tenderloin, but I’d get more bang for my buck buying tenderloin and cooking it however I please instead.

My son eats a couple/few pieces of beef jerky a day, so I got some of this gator jerky as a fun gift for him for his birthday, especially since he was born in Florida and that's where I call home. I think he was surprised that he liked the taste of it as much as he did. Plus, it made a great prop for him to show on his video stream.
