Last forever and best and only one I use.
This is the best brush. I have used it for many years. Both the large and small size is great. Perfectly detangles and does not pull hair. I have had the same one for years but periodically buy new ones to keep in different locations. But they last forever.My hair stylist gave me one 30 years ago and I never strayed. Everyone I give one to loves it. It is priced so good as well.

Great Brush for All Hair Types
This Paul Mitchell Pro Tools 413 Sculpting Brush is a great everyday brush. I like it so much this is my second purchase. It works especially well on thick hair and has a comfortable handle with excellent grip. It’s easy to clean, lightweight, and very portable. The design and ergonomics are well thought out, making it easy to use. I also love that it’s affordable—still around $8 even after several years. Great value for the money. I highly recommend!

Good for a few months, but not longer than that
I am on this site looking for another brush because I bought this brush in 2025 and it is now April 2026. It was good for a few months. Then the tips started coming off, making the end of each brush tip harsher on my scalp. As more came off, I got a few sores on my scalp and had to spend about $20 on meds for that. A month ago I realized that when cleaning the brush that water was somehow leaking into what was a hollow area inside the brush. I couldn't get it all out and for the next week it would leak out when I brushed my hair, adversely affecting the style that I had created with wearing rollers at night. No, I won't buy this item again. But if you only want a brush for a few months, then I can recommend it.
