I originally ordered this in 2023 and the power button recently stopped working after 2+ years of daily use (past the 2 year warranty) . Over time, it also started losing charge more quickly and I had to charge more often so it wouldn't die during a walk (every 4 days before it stopped working but it used to be maybe about a week). I think that also helped the battery last longer. I love the rainbow mode especially and had to reorder. My pomchi often gets compliments during our night walks and the small size works great for her.

The light is very high quality. It is rechargeable, which is very helpful. Bright and provides nice visibility.

Handy to spot the dog when off lead in the dark. Also great for lead walking in the dark. The cycling colours are fun. Battery only really lasts 1 full walk (1 hour) and will need charging in order to get through the next walk. Happy overall

4/2024 update: Contacted customer service, because one dog ate the other’s off their collar. The replaced it right away! I support this product even more now :) ••• I purchased one almost a year ago, and it’s wonderful! I turn it on for every evening and bedtime outing. It lasts about 3 days on one charge, and it’s easy to recharge. I haven’t had any issues with the charging aspect, unlike some reviewers. We have a large amount of yard fenced in, so it gives me peace of mind to be able to find him in the dark (and make sure he’s behaving!). It’s so bright and visible. I love this product so much, I bought another one for our newest pet. We’ve had it on her for a couple months now, and it works great. I love that I can make her a different color than his, so I can see who is who in the farthest, darkest parts of the yard! I recommend it to all my pet friends.

Really liked it at first, could go a couple days between charges (turning it on and off only when I let my dog out at night), was nice and bright. Maybe the 3rd or 4th time I went to charge it it wouldn't charge and was lighting up weird. My best guess is it may have gotten wet (she didn't go swimming or anything but it had been a rainy muddy week and it definitely got mud splashed on it). For something meant to be worn by a dog I was expecting a bit more durability.

Update: I contacted Nite Ize. This product has a 2 year warranty and they will be sending me a replacement (yay!!). I originally bought the same product from Target and it broke. I have provided a receipt and hopefully they will replace this too as it was purchased in Nov. 2022. (Yay! they did!!). This is a great company to work with. They stand behind their product. I purchased this item on Jan 11, 2023 and 41 days later it will not work (yes, recharged as I have in the past) but not functioning. I would think this would have a guarantee longer than this from the company. Up until then it was a good product. I discovered they have a 2 year warranty and they replaced it, no problem.

Died after only a couple of very light uses and wouldn’t recharge at all, now it’s completely unusable. It was not exposed to anything out of the ordinary and didn’t take any impact. I had another light from this brand and it didn’t have issues, quite disappointed with how this one turned out for the money…

Nice size and shape for a collar or harness even on a medium small dog. Not too heavy. Is solid and seems very durable. Quite bright led light. Good attachment hook hardware, easy to manipulate yet not likely to fall off. Easy on/off switch. Rechargeable by usb. Haven’t had to charge it yet after done use. Haven't had it out in wet weather but looks quite waterproof.

So great, really bright and nice being able to recharge rather than buying a new battery. It has survived rainy dog walks and some accidental spins in the washing machine.

AVOID ..Good light when i first used it . Then I sucessfully charged it once and it continued working. Went to charge again and nothing. Not able to contact seller to request a replacement ...veru diaappointed ahould last longer than a couple of weeks.

the retaining spring on the clip fell off after a month of use ... this is the second time with nite-ize lights ...not worth buying ...shame as otherwise it's a great light
