Product Instruction:This is the Titanium version of Tool AA2.0 flashlight which is also compatible with AA batteries including Alkaline and NiMH batteries. This Tool AA 2.0 Ti LED flashlight is an ideal gift light for your friends, customers, or yourself for light collection. Note:Due to there is no hard-anodized coating on the thread of the battery compartment, the thread is conductive, so if you want to twist the head to turn on/off the light, you have to unscrew it basically completely to get it to turn off. Please use the tailcap to switch the outputs.

Its shiny, its bright, its not Titanium
Lumintop Tool AA TitaniumJust when you thought the Tool AA 2.0 (Black) was cool, well Lumintop topped it with the titanium version. This is another fist full of magnificent EDC light. The build like the anodized version is stellar. The construction is exactly the way I prefer, grippy but not abrasive knurling, shiny titanium finish with a rubberized tactile, semi recessed tail button that is easy to articulate and tail stands, medium wall thickness, robust enough for every day carry, this light is like the original Tool 2.0 Black, a benchmark for others. The weight goes up from 24grams for the standard aluminum version to 42 grams for the titanium version. 75% heavier for the so called titanium version. This brings into question which alloy is used. Titanium is 35% lighter than steel but 65% heavier than aluminum so what type of new titanium alloy is this ? Bare with me, this is important. There are 5 standard types of pure titanium and there are 33 types of alloyed titanium but the heaviest of these alloys is still only 65% heavier than aluminum. I'm not believing this light has any titanium, it is most likely thinner mild steel. This light gets only four **** stars ( Manufactures pants are fully engulfed in flame )I've included several pictures for comparison purposes, you'll see the olight i3T, IYP365 penlight, the standard version of the Tool AA 2.0 and the Tool AAA Mini. The performance.... It has the most magnificent cool white tint thanks to the XPL-HD LED This cool white tint is so well balanced with accurate daylight balance. The balance of spot and flood is nearly perfect with only slight halo within the transition of spot to flood. The feathered graduation of the beam pattern is better than much more expensive lights.Like the standard black version, this light supports a single lithium ion 14500 cell. 650-lumens on high mode for 33 minutes / High 360 lm · 79 minutes / Mid 85 lm · 6.1 hours / Low 16 lm · 37 hours running with a single 14500 cell This light has more output and better tint than my Thrunite Archer 2A. The AA Tool will also use NI-MH and easy to get Alkaline batteries if you desire. The throw is superb with plenty of long range visibility in the event that SASQUATCH charges out from the neighbors hedgerow. The Lumintop AA Tool 2.0Ti Titanium comes with a silicone diffuser that works very well. A lanyard and spare o rings are also included.I own similar lights that cost almost three times the amount of this light and yet, this light out preforms them all.If you're wanting not just a good but a great every day carry flashlight, that is also shiny like titanium, this is it.Collectors, Flashlight Junkies and Bigfoot hunters need to get one before they are all gone.

Replacement light was worse than the first!
The first light I ordered, would not go into strobe mode. Manual stated with light on slightly depress button 6 times to enter strobe mode. All this did was lock the flashlight in the off position. This required me to completely unscrew and remove the tail end and reinstall and tighten to make it operate again. So that was a ‘FAIL’. However, I could turn on the light and go through the 4 steady lighting levels (Low, Medium, High, Turbo) from either the tail button or rotating the head, as the manual stated. And by slightly turning the head counter clockwise I could also turn off the annoying blue tail light that would glow when the flashlight was off (creating a slightly parasitic drain even when the light was fully off). Ordered a replacement because the light would not enter Strobe Mode. Replacement light was worse! It, also would not enter Strobe mode upon depressing the tail switch 6 times, as the manual stated, just like the first one. And, it would also lock the flashlight in the off position, also requiring me to totally unscrew and remove the tail end and reinstall it to make the light operational again. But, this unit would only go through the 4 steady light levels from the tail button. Slightly loosening and retightening the head end would not change the light levels or disengage the annoying tail light, at all. Again, manual states you can change the light levels by either pushing the button on the tail end or rotating the head end. This is a $55 complete fail for both lights. It’s going back. And I do not recommend purchasing this product!

Very bright, with some considerations...
Extremely bright little light that exceeds it’s stated lumen rating. Unfortunately the tint of the light was awful, very purple halo around the hotspot. I remedied this by using some DC fix on the lens, unfortunately lowering the output and throw in the process.Because of the material the light is made of, you lose the ability to mechanically lock out the light to prevent battery drain and inadvertently turning the light on. This is a pretty valuable feature in a light that is supposed to go in your pocket, and considering the high heat generated by the light when it’s on high, I think this could be a safety concern if you aren’t careful. You could burn yourself or burn out the emitter.I have elected to use Eneloop batteries in it to mitigate the risks as they are lower power and will not activate the glowing button, reducing parasitic drain on the battery.Overall, if you don’t mind the tint of the light it’s a good torch.

Best flashlight for the money
I review EDC gear professionally on YouTube. My channel is Every Day Blades. I have reviewed a lot of flashlights over the years. I can say with 100% confidence that this is absolutely the best every day carry flashlight you can buy for the money. I get free flashlights all the time. But I bought this one. Is amazing. Crazy bright. Very long run times and super durable. Not to mention beautiful. This thing is ultra light. You will forget your carrying it. I give it 2 thumbs up. 👍👍

Won't reach claimed runtime
I've tried 2 of the titanium Tool 2.0's. The first one had a very noticeable beam pulse when on High mode, neither of them would come close to the stated 2.5 hrs runtime on high with a NiMh battery... they both got very dim and began to flicker on/off at 1 hr 40 min. My 5+ year-old abused Thrunite T10 tail-clicky has far more NiMh runtime on high, with about the same output. I wanted so badly for the titanium Tool 2.0 to match or exceed my old T10 on the setting I'd likely use most, but, as beautiful as the Tool 2.0 is, it would be a reduction in runtime for what I use my EDC light for most often.
