Cable cutters
Like how the coaxial ca le and the copper core od protected in the cutter

Cuts clean with just a bit of squashing
It's a fairly good coax cutter but it does tend to squash the cable a bit. I used it to cut a destroyed end of coax to attach one of the " no solder" Shakespeare connectors. Testing showed full continuity of both center and shield, no shorts, and right about 50 ohms into a dummy load!

Works for what i do

Did not work for my RG-6Q.
When I cut RG-6 quad shield coax, the tip of the CCS center conductor gets bent over every time. They also deformed the foam dielectric more than I liked or expected. I would recommend the "Platinum Tools Platinum 10510C BTP-6 Coax & Data Cable Cutter" instead, available here on Amazon, which I purchased in a store locally.

These are great cutters. They cut through coax
These are great cutters. They cut through coax, and cat5 with ease. I use them every day and they have remained sharp. The worst part about these are how far you have to open them up in order to fit a cable in the jaws. I'm 6' 1 and have large hands. I struggle to open them far enough with one hand. A person with small hands may not be able to use these one handed.

Perfect for cutting bike cables! Half the price of Park Tools
I bought these with high hopes they would be able to cut bike inner and outer housing of bike brake cables. I'm pleased to say that they are perfect for the job! Flawlessly snips brake housing without compressing it. It's even easier work for cutting the inner wire. You can buy these and save half the price of Park Tools cutters. These are not spring loaded though.

Works perfectly for cutting bicycle cables
Bought these to replace the cables on my bike and they worked great. Cut through steel cable and housing no problem.

very small tool
tool was undersized and very stiff - had to work on it so i could use it machining on the cutter very crude

Not Impressed
I bought these so that we could cut coax without distorting the dielectric. The cutters don't do much better than linesman pliers. Also, they are so tight, you can barely move them.. you need two hands to open and close them. Also they don't come close to cutting LMR400... they are way too small. I'm not impressed.
