Pizza Crust Mix, 6.5 Ounce (Pack of 6)

Love this for making pizza. Texture is a little biscuit like but can make thin and is perfect the way I like it.

I've always liked Jiffy's pizza crust mix. To me it's just a bit different than mixes that come packaged in envelopes. I have trouble finding it in stores in my area so I was glad to find it on Amazon. It's a good, easy to prepare crust mix that makes a 12" pizza that will support plenty of sauce and toppings. As far as flavor, I'm not sure how much "flavor" is to be expected from a pizza crust if you don't season it with herbs or garlic butter or something, but this crust tastes very good. In regards to packaging and shipping my 6 boxes were sealed in plastic and shipped in an envelope. I would have preferred that boxes of a food product were shipped in a larger box but mine arrived undamaged. Overall this is a good value for a very good crust mix.

The items came in great packaging but I have not yet tried the product. The only reason I am not rating it 5 starts is the price is not the best but the shipping to the house was convenient.

Easy and very tasty!

With one box, you can make four 6 inch pizzas in a small air fryer. I cooked the crust until it’s crispy and one of them I make the pizza and the other three I put in a bag in the freezer until I want a pizza later on. I absolutely love flat pizza with a crispy bottom. Mushroom, sausage, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, onion, cheddar, mozzarella, Yum!

All of the boxes were taped together with packing tape, kind of annoying but not the end of the world. Followed the instructions on the box and the dough ended up way too wet, I ended up having to add almost half of another box. In the future I'll probably start with way less water and incorporate till the consistency was right. Baked nicely and the family was a fan.

Makes having a healthy pizza so easy. Upscale pizzas have fresh veggies, real meat and fish. But those pizzas are very expensive. Jiffy lets me make that pizza for a fraction of the cost - sometimes using leftovers. It is easy to mix and prepare. If I am cooking for just 2 people (which is often the case) I only use half the dough and refrigerate the other half for the future. I have read that you can freeze the dough, but I have never tried that. If I do I will come back and tell you what happened. I know that the refrigerated dough is even easier to handle than the fresh dough. When I make a small pizze I use a metal pie dish which helps make the exterior crust just like the crust in pizza parlot pizza. Also, I put grease the pan with a little extra virgin olive oil then sprinkle a little corn meal, salt and pepper just like the New Jersey pizzas I ate as a kid. And the crust is very forgiving soaking up any excess oil and staying crust on the bottom.
