DC Power Splitter 1 to 2 Way, DC Power Supply Splitter Cord Plug 5.5mm x 2.1mm, for CCTV Security Camera,LED Strip Light and More, 2-Pack White

Works Great in My Application -- I have two different voltages in the Structured Meda cabinet in my home. My cable modem, router, ethernet switches, and etc. use 12 volts, but the NVRs for my security cameras uses 48 volts. All the 12 volt devices use black cables so I decided to use white cables for the 48 volt cables. When I ordered these, the listing did not mention the wire gauge which was disappointing, but it did mention “Through Current: Main line up to 6Amp, branch Line up to 2Amp”. My application is less than half those values so I ordered it and it works fine. The cables are not warm or anything. I only needed one for this job, but the 5.5/2.1mm connector is very common so I will probably use the second one somewhere else.

I added a second Ring camera, and wanted to use power from my existing solar panel. This splitter allowed me to do just that, saving the cost of adding another solar panel. This splitter looks nice and is effective.

The description says "white" but there is no way these are white! Just not "black". The photo is taken on white paper and the cord on top is from a white power adapter; decide yourself. I hate inaccurate descriptions and normally I'd just return to Amazon, but don't want to bother since these will be out of sight.

work great and saves on power supplies

Needing to install a new smart camera and not having a power supply close by was a problem. Running a complete new power line was out of the question. Fortunately there was another camera close by and splitting the power feed to that camera was an option. Purchased these splitters and adding a new line was avoided. They worked perfectly. Comes in an envelope with two 12" splitters. We used one on this camera and have another for future use. They are quality items with well made and well molded terminals at all ends. The fit to the camera and the leads was perfect and they appear to have a good seal against the weather. These saved me a lot of time and work.

Working okay since purchased

Perfectly linked my 2 Tapo Cameras together. I was a little curious if the Tapo-provided electric plug would be able to do two cameras but no issues. This is exactly what I was wanting!!

Price was good.. recieved on time..and the work great.

Have bought this product a few times and the quality is awesome. These are great when working on security systems and needing multiple power connections from one source.
