These worked very well for an amplifier connection to a paging box for emergency services. We wired up several of them and they have been going strong for several months.

These are really thin wires
I read the reviews and thought I would be getting something fairly substantial. Not the 12-gauge I am used to using, but at least something serviceable. I have a high-end receiver that still has the options of RCA or whatever those really big plugs are called - it's been a lot of years since I swapped out equipment. My whole-house sound system had been using a decent Yamaha receiver that slowly was not what I wanted so I swapped it with the Anthem that had been sitting on a shelf in storage. But those pesky RCA plugs were needed for the speaker wires. So I ordered these. I was very surprised at how tiny the wires are. As a matter of fact I stripped them perfectly with a 22-gauge opening in the strippers I use for regular house-wiring electrical work. That looked about right for the wire size. Problem is, I didn't order 22-gauge wire, nor would I have. So I can say with great confidence I would not order these again.
