Grote 82-5502 Brake Cable

I recently bought this cable to wire a brake system on my tandem axle trailer. I've was very happy with the quality of the wire. The coating seems very rugged, and even dragging it through holes in my frame, it barely left any marks on the coating. I had to cut it with a sharp knife to get into it, which gives me hope that it will last me a long time to come hauling my cars. The wires inside are strong, bright copper which worked well with the compression crimps that I used to wire the brake system. I even heated the compression crimps because they shrink with heat, and the skin of this wire was not affected.The only down side is that there is a ton of wire and I guess its not necessary, but I was thinking about putting in some new running lights, which will use up more of this wire. I'm quite happy with it and would recommend it

The wire is used mostly for wiring beakes. The wire is very adequate for this purpose. I will get most of my trailers rewired. I know that using Grote 82-5502 that there will be no problems.I definitely recommend this product for your trailer wiring needs.
