Works as stated. Great price. Good quality. Since I only needed 1 piece, I have spare parts now. Much better option than replacing the whole baby gate.

I got a used baby gate that was missing the pegs to hold it onto the wall so I ordered these and they're very easy to tighten and loosen. They didnt hurt the wall when I moved the baby gate to a different area, some pegs will remove paint but these left no marks. They held the gate very nicely and fit perfectly.

During a recent move, I lost one of the bolts for my Summer Infant Extra Tall & Wide Safety Pet and Baby Gate, 29.5"-53" Wide that prevents my chupacabra from bolting out the front door whenever it is opened. I tried using bolts from my shorter gates, but the bolts were too thick (the full 8mm) and had to be screwed into the opening, unlike the original bolts, so didn't function properly. I was thrilled to see these were thinner than the stated 8mm so they were more likely to work. And they did. They are perfect for this gate: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WN6DZ86/ I had to take a star off from the 5 they otherwise would have deserved because there was a problem - while there were 4 long bolts, there were only 3 of the tightening nuts. The nuts weren't connected to the bolts before packaging, so it was easier for one piece to be left out of the package. Amazon has shifted the onus of returns onto the customer, so I had to choose between paying $1 more than the item cost to have it picked up or taking my own time & car across town to find a drop off point - again costing more than the item itself cost. So I just bought a 2nd pack. A waste of money, but it was the cheapest option to have a functioning gate.

Bought these to replace the lost ones for my Summer brand baby/pet gate. Good quality item. The part that spins to adjust the depth is a metal nut embedded in a strong hard plastic. The part that goes against the wall is metal wrapped with a rubber pad. I think both parts will be very durable. The shafts are very long. Measure the depth of the holes in your gate before buying these. We had to cut about 2 inches off the ends with a hacksaw and now they're perfect. My bad for not measuring first.

We managed to somehow bend one of the spindle rods for our pet gate. I was leery when I saw the diameter of the replacement spindle was different than the damaged part. But there was no reason to fear. The adjustment component of the new rod replaced the function of the old spindle adjuster. As a bonus it is much easier to adjust the spindle with the new adjuster.

They work perfect we lost one from our baby gate was a perfect fill in one that we lost.

Why 4 starts? Well the top base for the screw could be larger for more firm grip to drywall etc.
