This is designed for 1 inch sch40 or sch80 PVC pipe.

Is rhis for schedule 40 or schedule 80 pipe?

PVC pipe has the same OD regardless of wall thickness in 40/80

Yes I agree with you, pvc is plumbing measured with id. at standard thickness. As in extra heavy steel pipe the id would get smaller but rated same sizing.

Which size of bulkheads should I use to fit 45 mm ??

You really need a 45mm bulkhead, but you probably will not find one that size. A 1 1/2" Polypropylene Bulkhead should work.
