Please do not get this product. I recenttly purchased this and im regretting it. I commute to school on a daily basis and my bag is already as is. Trying to buy a budget friendly lock, I purchased this. Instantly, I started having problems when I got it, The size is a little weird and does not fit anything. (bike, backpack, backpack pockets, etc.I had to go and buy another one and this one is practically useless. People are saying its good quality by the assumption that it is heavy. TOO HEAVY IS A BAD THING PEOPLE!

Not very good lock. After 5months of maybe using it 3x mine is broken already. The lock mechanism is broken inside. Do not buy.

Well I'm not sure what to say about this lock. It's my first U-lock and it was easy to use. Though my bike did get stolen in the SOMA neighborhood in San Francisco. I feel like with any lock, there will be ways to get past it, so it wouldn't be fair to rate this lock at 1 star just because my bike got stolen

This is a heavy bike lock which is great for security but cumbersome to travel with. Easy to use. Great value for the money and overall a solid bike lock.

If it looks sturdy that's about 90% what you're paying for right? From what I read only the NY-based brand which guarantees safety of construction will give ultimate peace of mind. But that also comes with a $100 price tag. This works great for the cost, the mounting kit is helpful and the extra cord grants some extra usefulness. Thanks!

So this will be my first product review online. I usually let the product speak for itself as they usually perform as expected. Unfortunately I have not had the best experience with this causing me to write this review. I purchased this lock 3 months ago and it worked very well for the first two months. The lock in general is on the harder side to secure and you half to get both hooks completely in to lock. Over the last few months I've been noticing its been taking much more effort to lock and today i spent 30 min in a grocery store parking lot to try and unlock my bike, I even had a strange buy me some WD340 to try and grease it up a bit and still no luck. I walked back home to get my spare key thinking my current one was the problem, but still was having issues. Luckily i kept trying with the spare key and it finally opened! I bought this lock because l live in the city and use the lock at least 5 days per week. I keep my bike locked outside my apartment when I'm not using it, as i assume most people do, so I'm not sure if rain and corrosion are a factor, but even so, after just 3 months i would not expect the lock to be malfunctioning already. Needless to say, I will be purchasing a new lock as i cannot risk spending another 30 min trying to unlock it elsewhere. The bike lock did its job for when it worked, and I may have just been the unlucky person who got a bad one, but this should not happen and I will not be repurchasing this same brand again.

3 different keys for 3 different locks...all the keys work with each lock...not very secure if u ask me. the cable is a very light weight, soft cable, able to cut with large wire cutters...not bolt cutters, wire cutters. save ur money unless ur only using it for looks to deter thieves.
