Pretty for decorating
As advertised, sturdy and is pretty farm white color. Would buy again. Super easy to put together.

Easy to put together - - it is white but like slightly transparent and imperfect on purpose. Seems sturdy and it was super easy to put together the rod in the middle is sturdy and metal. The wood is thick and unfinished. I think it will be pretty for many occasions for church potlucks. I think it’s versatile in that you could use it for jewelry or storage or as a decoration or for food serving. I like the size. Bigger than I was expecting. Disclaimer I got it today and have not used it but only put it together. You could actually use the handle to carry it by the way

Really rough finish, looks kind of trashy.
I chose the "rustic" finish so I knew the tier tray would not look polished, but it is really rough. It has been antiqued with white paint that was rubbed off and it makes it look like dust has caked in the seams and wood texture. I bought it to make displays in the hall of my apartment building that is changed monthly. I'm a little reticent to use it because it looks kind of trashy. It is easy to assemble, feels sturdy, wing nut that holds it all together tightened well, and it is a nice size. My only concern is how rough it feels and the trashy appearance. I can't imagine any farm wife using this tray.Update: I sprayed it heavily with Pledge and wiped with an old washcloth and it took much of the chalkiness off. I would recommend doing that before assembly if you want to cut down on the chalkiness and dry appearance. The spray also took off some brown so I don't think you would want to set anything on the tray that might leave a water ring as the finish is not water proof.
