Good looking machine
This espresso machine is very nice to look at and use, beautiful chrome finish and excellent quality coffee when you use it correctly, the seller also compliments it with a pdf guide of specialty espresso drinks. The pressure gauge does not have any pressure bar indicators and may appear to have no real function in making coffee but there is a difference in how high the needle goes when brewing coffee and when cleaning as it does not rise as much when I purge the group head (use without the filter) to clear excess coffee grounds after use (not recommended in the user guide for safety reasons as it spurts hot water and steam) it can be done safely using a jug to cover the group head, professional baristas do this after every use. If you want to try to be a barista this is the machine you need, the milk frothing wand is great for just steaming the milk too, other things you might want to consider buying to be a coffee barista is a jug for milk steaming/frothing and a digital thermometer to put in the jug, you want the temperature to be between 150-170 Fahrenheit but not over 175f.

Poor quality, warranty worthless
The machine was ok and made decent coffee for as long as it worked, but that for me was about 6 months. Cue many unanswered emails to Sincreative; when I did get a response it was offers to help that then went back to no responses. Gave up in the end. Do yourself a favour, save your money and get one with a warranty that you are sure will be honoured. Got a De Longhi Dedica - same form but better quality and 3 year warranty through Lakeland.

Brilliant little machine
I read lots of previous reviews quite a few being quite negative but really liked the compact size and if I didn't like it I could always return it.Gave a rinse through as per instructions and first cup was made, tasted of plastic same with next two, thought I was going to have to return. But as google knows everything I googled tainted coffee from machine, and the answer was fill tank up with half white vinegar and water and run through machine. Ran through two two cups and frother left for an hour did same till empty, rinsed tank several times re filled and put through machine.Made coffee through machine and no more plastic taste, a week later still working perfect. As far as cleaning it is a bit of a pain but would be with any machine as I only use it three times a day and if you want nice coffee you'll soon get into a routine.

Makes a decent coffee - good value, compact
The good:It produces a very good coffee - with a nice crema. It's pretty good value compared to similar models (I paid £100) .The unit is compact - half the width of my previous machine which had comparable features.Although not mentioned in the description, the cup size is customisable (1 cup can be set to 25-60ml, 2 cups to 70-110ml).The not so good:The unit is so light that when locking the coffee holder in place, the whole unit lifts up.Pouring water directly into the water tank (without removing the tank) can cause water to leak out. Removing the tank to refil recommended. With the water tank at the back of the unit, it's not easy to see how full it is.Other stuff good to know:Whilst it looks cool, the pressure guage is purely for show - the pressure is not adjustable, and the guage doesn't show the actual pressure in bars. There's no jug included for frothing milk. It's not perfect, so not 5 stars.... But overall a pretty good buy.

Looks good, works well
If you're looking for a not too expensive espresso machine - this is it. Compact, nice looking, makes good espresso (after you get the grind right, of course). Doesn't feel cheap and the stainless steel finish feels nice.As it has a pressurised portafilter out-of-the-box, if the grind is too fine, it will struggle a bit and will stop if the pressure builds up too high. What I did in order to overcome that, was to use a small fork (for the lack of a needle distributor) to make some canals through the tamped coffee, then tamped lightly again. This improved the flow and resulted in a good cup of espresso, with good crema and aroma. The milk frothing wand is, as I've read in other reviews, not that good, but with some practice you can get satisfactory results.EDIT: the frothing wand is ok, just needed some practice and can make a decent cup of cappuccino now 👍

Doesn't Froth Milk
I had to send this back as I was after an espresso machine that made Latte's. I liked the 20-bar pressure pump as it was able to push through fine ground coffee reasonably well and produce nice quality espresso with good crema. But the frothing wand only heats the milk, it can't froth it for a Latte or Cappuccino. So disappointed as apart from that it was perfect. But that's too big a problem to overlook. I bought another brand instead where you can slide a section of the wand up to allow air into the steam wand which produces beautiful frothy milk. But it's only 15-bar and the difference is noticeable. Have to be so careful with the tamping and often have to pass water through twice. If only I could have half and half. As for this unit, awesome for espresso and Americano's but no good for Latte's and Cappuccino's. Real shame. Compact and beautiful but the wand is lacking ):

Basic Espresso Machine
The pressure dial serves no useful function and failed after a year. There is no manual feature to allow for a larger cup size and the machine failed completely within three years, having provided an average of no more than one double espresso per day.

Good quality product at good price
A very good little coffee machine making decent coffee, easy to operate & clean, look good & take little space in the kitchen. I am happy with my purchase. The pressure gauge is helpful to get the right level of coffee granules as I have coffee beans grinder. I have not yet using milk frother as preferred to heat milk from microwave & electric handheld milk frother.I will never go back to stove top perculator coffee. Highly recommended.
