Great tasting for all your baking needs.

I was concerned by the handful of reviews that gave bad ratings so I opened it and tried it.It does NOT taste like burned cigarettes. It is smooth and exactly as I hoped. I also tasted it up against the Dutch Cocoa I have been using for several years and it was every bit as good in flavor. The texture is different than the powdered cocoa, but the flavor is not off. I will be buying more while it is still this price.I also have a friend who is world-class pastry and baker I will bring it to to try in some of her creations for her opinion, which I will provide an update with her feedback.

I bought another brand of black cocoa powder but saw this brand which was more quantity for less money. Well the reason it cost less is because it isn’t the same quality. It smells more like a dark cocoa powder than the black cocoa powder I have. I put all 3 different cocoa powders in the picture for comparison. Will be spending a little more money next time for a higher quality product.

Very smooth, chocolatey, excellent flavor- it’s not acidly or tart

Used the cocoa to make an Oreo type cookie. Cookies turned out great! Color was perfect!

The reviews sounded good, and the price point was positive so I bought this cocoa powder. It was nice and dark with a good dark chocolate smell. Unfortunately it was quite lumpy and my cookies didn’t turn out well. Sort of dry. I found that by mixing it 50/50 with another cocoa powder worked O.K. so at least I won’t have to throw it out.
