Exact replacements and easy to change. Unless you are hard on these and break them, they rarely fail, but it is nice to have on hand. Stainless would be better for those afraid of plastics, but price and minimal contact don't justify the difference. Those with a Berkey Light can have a cheap backup with no problems.

I had a 3 gallon jug that was wide mouthed and difficult to pour off small amounts of weed killer. Drilled out the lid for this spigot and presto, problem solved, no leaks and easy dispensing!

These work pretty good the only con is the water flow is a little slow but the plastic material feels very good quality and it's easy to clean and easy to install and since it's not metal it's rust resistant so that's a plus!

I've been using Brita pitchers and alike for a while, and a couple of months ago, the handle on my pitcher snapped off. I always dread going about replacing things like this. The handle is sturdy, there is no leaking, and it fits perfectly with this type of Brita pitcher. I’d also recommend using Amazon Basics for the replacement filters. Highly recommend.
