Does this strap have a suede back?

No, it has thick leather on both sides of strap. Bought for a Christmas present. My opinion is it is too stiff. I will condition it to try and break it in.

No... no padding. Just a thick high quality leather strap

Is this meant to be attached to the headstock or on a button on the body? If it can be attached to the headstock is there a string included?
