Will it work on 110V mains as well?

It’s ery good and small enough to fit anywhere work very good

Will this play any dvd and cd? daft question, is it the same slot for cds and dvd?

Yes Its a multi region dvd and its value for money

Hi when you press set up on remote what is the TV display say is it 16:9 or 4:3?

My television automatically connected the DVD player when I plugged it in but my previous tele and DVD was 16.9 but you should be able to go into different ones to get it. I hate messing about with all things technical so Good Luck

One of the reviews says it has a sealed plug with no fuse, can anyone confirm that the plug abides by UK regulations?

Don't know what they mean by "no fuse" as it's a sealed unit which shouldn't be opened. This is because it is a transformer to provide the specific voltage required by the unit (a bit like your mobile phone charger). Of course its UK compliant!
