It covers every area
First I must say how shocked I was at the absence of written reviews of this book. I purchased this book because I have been managing my son's Airbnb properties for a number of years and wanted to see if I could pick up any new tips. The book is quite good and covers every area of operation. I found the section on creating house rules to be useful. The frequently asked questions was a good idea and addressed some crucial areas of concern. This is a good book for anyone contemplating or already involved in Airbnb.

Highly recommended
I have always had an interest in real estate and the hospitality & service business. A while ago I started researching airbnb and got really interested in the whole idea. I got this book based on a recommendation and it couldn’t have come at a better time. I read 2 other similar books before getting this one and this is the one I resonated with the most. Although beginners would benefit the most from this book, it got some good advice for seasoned hosts as well. Even though I spent a lot of time reasearching airbnb before reading book, there was a lot that was new to me here. Anyway, I’ll be taking more recommendations from now on since this turned one turned out great haha 🙂

It was ok
This was a quick and easy read, I finished it in three very brief sittings. It felt like the book was written for someone who has never heard of Airbnb or even stayed in a hotel before, it was that simple. I'm gearing up to start our first short-term rental property and was hoping to gain valuable insight to make sure we're following the right path. I don't feel that I learned anything new and most of the information could be easily gleaned from no more than an hour's worth of YouTube videos. My two favorite features of the book are the list of resources that should be used to help scale and automate your business (found throughout the book and in a compiled list at the back of the book) and the sample checklists provided for things like cleaning, the unit's guidebook, and automated responses for potential guests. I bought the second edition of Airbnb for Dummies at the same time and am hoping to gain more helpful insight. Most of the info found here could be assumed by someone who has stayed in an Airbnb more than one time.

Eye opening and great for beginners
If you are looking for a tool to help you earn extra money and give you a better understanding of where to begin when starting your Airbnb business then you are in the right place. The language and dialogue in the book is very beginner friendly. There are stories and examples of others who started out in the business and chapters that go deep in depth about the legal processes that you should consider in your business planning. I recommend keeping this in your toolbox when you are ready to take the first step in seeking your first rental. It took me three weeks to finish the text and I have passed it along to family and friends. Currently in the process of registering my LLC!

Excellent foundation
Apparently, running an Airbnb is not a simple task, and a lot of variables need to be addressed in order to be successful. All of the pertinent topics are addressed in this book, and by the end of it, you’ll know if this business is for you and how to get started.

Very helpful information.
Just started SA a few months ago.And getting all the information that I can to successfuly run my business. I paid for a course and it was ok. But this book gives a lot of good information too and knowledge about different aspects of the Airbnb business. If you're a beginner in this, this book is very good or if you're growing your business as well. I love the emphasis on automating your business.
