Nice Edge Control for my edges. It does not last more than few hours on my hair, but it does lay my edges as expected. The scent of it is light. Love it.

NOTE: Ladies, for any edge control products you use, you need to put on a protector, first.MEANING: Meaning, before applying your edge control product, apply a reputable Hair and Scalp Conditioner, like 'Africa's Maximum Strength Super Gro', 'Palmer's Bergamot Formula', etc. Any Hair and Scalp Conditioner of your liking.REASON: Your front edges are the most delicate part of the your hair. Edges, tend to get dry and brittle. If you apply an edge control product to your edges without a protector, especially with relaxed hair, it will get drier and will start to thin. Also, as any product, if you use it enough throughout the week, you will get some build-up. Therefore, you need to wash the build-up out of your hair at least once in the week, or maybe more depending on your hair type. This too, will protect your edges from drying, thinning and/or breaking.OVERALL: Use a protector before applying your edge control product.PERSONAL REVIEW: I find this product to work well, so far. I do apply a protector first before applying the edge control. Also, I do not apply the edge control product every day due to my hair being relaxed, and I swim and/or workout some days. Clorine and sweat will definitely dry and/or break the edges, therefore, I am very protective of my hair.Thank you for reading. I hope this review was helpful.

I love the smell of the product and it doesn’t leave build up on my hair.

I have tried two other edge controls. I have a mixed textured hair grade. When I say I have specific products I MUST use in order for my hair to behave lol this is one of them. It does not leave it glued to my head, its flexible with great hold. Plus it does not take much. My last container of this edge control lasted over 6 months. Sometimes I only have to use it every other day due to the strong hold.

Ok, this works unbelievably well. I have locks and my ends are very coarse. Also it really creates an illusion of thickness, my fine hairs and the slight balding I have in front..it covers it up perfectly. No crazy, greasy residue, no leakage on pillowcases or clothes.. Last almost 24 hrs.. u can even add a little water and it's like u put on more!.. Also u never need to use alot . It lasts really long. My daughter and I both use it.. FYI.. we're both 100% black..

I have ethnic hair somewhere between a 3 and 4 hair type I guess. All natural, no chemicals, just heat from blow drying and the occasional beveling/curling.Two main issues with my "natural look" are "summer frizz"(or anywhere hot) and my unruly edges, so I tested this product. At first it was great, but by the end of the day I had a dull white sticky film on my edges. Other users on here suggested using a bit more product to rectify that issue, and that did work...but just for a few hours. Again, by the end of the day the dull white film is back, and now its's caked up. I think this will work best on wet hair styles.So I'm returning this and moving on to the KeraCare Edge Tamer I purchased from here also. I'll let you know how it works.Good luck to you all!
