Nice little computer
Installed this to replace a tower computer in an office. It’s very capable. Installation instructions are skimpy so there is a fair amount of internet searching required if you need to do anything sophisticated during setup. Be aware that the video system works fine with a UHD monitor but will not always drive lower resolution monitors to their full resolution. I initially hooked it up to the QHD monitor that was working well with the previous machine and several laptops and it would not recognize the monitor’s capabilities and would not supply full resolution. I had to buy a new UHD monitor and it worked fine.

USEFUL AS MEDIA SERVER
I connected this computer to my smart TV with the purpose that I would use it to show movies, football games, etc on the TV using Netflix, Amazon Prime, Paramount, etc. It has served its purpose. I turn on the TV to the USB port connected to the computer, connect to it remotely with my macbookpro, set up the movie, then cancel the remote connection. I have a keyboard and mouse connected directly to the computer in case anything wierd happens. Nothing has happened, though I use the mouse and keyboard to control where I am in the movie. Windows automatically connects to the TV audio. I can then control the audio with my TV remote. The computer was expensive for me ($500+) but it is the first minicomputer in that range that runs the current OS, windows 11, and has 16G of memory. Anything less would not do. Movies play well using this approach, no delays. One other thing: I can turn the computer on remotely, thanks to the fact that Windows 10 and 11 do not completely turn off when you tell it to shutdown via Windows. MS did that to speed up loading Windows--otherwise it is a bit of a dog.

Happy with purchase with the exception of small problems
I purchased the Beelink SEI8 Mini PC as a desktop solution to eliminate the need to drag along a laptop when visiting my vacation home. Overall I really like it. I'm using it with two 22 inch AOC monitors, a Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combination, and an USB DVD drive. I have not added an additional internal disk drive yet but I'm considering it for backup purposes. Although it seems to preform great for my general MS/office, web surfing, and bookkeeping tasks, I have noticed that getting the video quality the way that I want it has been difficult. I don't believe that the unit is defective, but after trying several different screen resolutions, the crispness of the text does not seem to be as good as I achieved when using the same monitors with a standard tower computer. However, the fact that I'm using VGA monitors with HDMI to VGA convertors might be a factor. Secondly, I find that the power on LED is too bright. I'm using the unit in my bedroom and the power switch LED lights up the entire room at night making sleeping difficult. Although covering up the switch with electrical tape is a fix, I've never had to do such a thing with other computers and doing so somewhat spoils the chique look of the computer. If there is no option to reduce the brightness or disable the LED, there should be because it's way too intense. Otherwise, after two weeks with my Beelink SEI8 Mini PC I'm happy with the purchase. As a long term Windows 10 user, having to immediately cut over to Windows 11 was a bit of a pain in the butt and my scanner no longer works under Windows 11. But, that's not the fault of the computer itself.

Handy and capable
Currently using as a node in my proxmox server, running Home Assistant and a couple other vms/containers. Runs perfectly, has had no issues at all. Highly recommend.

It's a Mini PC
Pretty good Mini PC, saves space and pretty compact. It's Intel core is better than I expected and is pretty fast. Obviously something I should've bought before and it's worth for it's price. I'm using it to make some music production and haven't had problems with it.

Excellent product
2nd Beelink Computer I have purchased and I highly recommend them. I see people complaining about fan noise and I just don't understand the comment as these things run very quietly. I do podcasting, audio video work and even two radio shows. So noise is something I'm extremely concerned with in each production or broadcast. I don't hear a thing from either of my computers, and they run efficiently while producing great presentations. I highly recommend them and I personally will not buy any other computer in the future other than a Beelink.

Worked fine until it didn't
It lasted 4 1/2 years and worked great with no problems until it started restarting on its own. I reinstalled Windows thinking it was a software issue but it did not fix the problem. Also, it now does not recognize the speakers at all. I expected it to last longer.

Good, solid little PC
Decided to move on from a 12 year old clunky desktop to something more compact and zippier and no regrets thus far (SEi8 i5-8279). The initial Windows 11 Pro installation was done without issues, and operates without any lag. Not sure about basic gaming but I mostly use it for email, news, online banking, Youtube, etc. and it's perfect. I had an extra 500GB SSD and was able to open the case and add as secondary storage without any issues. The 4X USB ports are plenty and used the dual HDMI ports to set up extended displays. On basic usage with Windows 11 and a browser running, typically uses 5GB of the 16GB total memory. Fans comes on every now and then and a little louder than I expected given how small the unit is, but then again there are some many compoenents crammed into such a small enclousre that you kind of expect it. Overall pleased and no regrets, especially since I was able to scoop one up at 25% off.
