Small and compact, good battery lifr
Found this to be extremely easy to setup and add to my existing ezviz system, charges quickly and battery life is very good, although I have no installed a the ezviz solar charger to keep it topped up. Image quality is very good and remains good even when zoomed in. Having built in memory means I don't have to subscribe to ezvizs cloud storage

Disappointing!
The first one of these cameras I purchased the lens misted up after 18 months and kept frequently dropping off the network. I then purchased a second camera February this year (2026) and 4 months later this now also keeps dropping off the network and no longer works. Really disappointed as when they worked they were brilliant but sadly reliability is terrible!!* Camera was positioned roughly 7m from our fibre broadband router which is well within the advertised distance.

Faulty and returned to Amazon
I placed it on charge before trying to set up the camera. After 6 hrs it was still charging. I took it off change but the indicator light still showed it as charging, even after 4 hrs. I was unable to change the status to pairing mode for setup.Having arranged a return, I notices that Amazon were offering the same model but with the solar panel charger for a few pence more than I paid for just the camera as a “limited time” offer. So I decided to give the Ezviz eLife 2K+ a second chance. This one seems to work fine although I have not installed or tested the solar panel yet. The image quality is good and, when set to PIR Infrared Detection, it records movement by my cats. The recording appears to include a second or two before motion is detected, which is really good. Very please with the replacement so far.The App provides a large number of setting but, as others have noted, is not very easy to navigate. There is no guidance on how to export, a rather complicated process, but there are YouTube video (although the screen of my App are different).I will provide an update on the replacement camera when tested more extensively.

Easy install
Found this item very easy to install. Instructions weren't overly clear, especially in reference to attaching the camera to the mounts. (It came with both screwed fixing and a magnetic mount Magnetic was amazing, but possibly not for an easy reach location). Software through the app was easy to install and gave many customisation options which I hadn't expected. Best security camera for the money I've come across in the last few years.

Battery charging stopped 24 days in
Stopped charging within a month of use... But outside the 22 day window... Worthless now... Also signed up for a storage subscription and now need to figure out how and if I can get refunded.
