14" x 1/4" Wooden Dowels - Pack of 60ct

I am using these in a craft project that requires gluing and different lengths. The wood cuts easily, glue adheres well. The wood is being used to hold wiring, relatively heavy objects in place. It will also be nice to have leftover pieces for other projects that will likely come up—of which, ‘lollipops’ aren’t on the horizon. This product has numerous ways it can be used—so functionally is high. It’s hardwood so strength is there. I was also grateful for the reasonable cost. No sanding was necessary—very smooth.

These sticks were perfect for our Vacation Bible School handcraft. We created hour glasses using empty Pepsi bottles and sand. These dowels have so many uses!

Used these as part of a baby shower decoration. The sticks are very sturdy. One end was pointed. Stick is very smooth so no concern for splinters.

I purchased these last minute for an art project, I needed makeshift dowel rods for easy scroll building. The rods are lightweight, but sturdy. My only real complaint is that a lot of the rods were NOT straight. Some had weird bends and dents. Like the title says: You get what you paid for.

I used these in an all vegan cake for a wedding. The cake was three layer all double layer. The cake weighed at least 50 to 75 pounds. It was very dense being a vegan cake. Which made it even heavier. The cake stayed together and I had to carry down two flights of stairs and drive it across town on a road with lots of bumps. The cake stayed and the cake was a hit at the reception!!!!! Great product I will definitely buy over and over.

I used my GlowForge laser to cut them into 1.5 inch lengths to make pegs for a game I am making. They worked great. I haven't tried to cut them with a band saw or anything because sometimes dowel rods of this size tend to shatter as soon as the blade touches them. I can't speak to that quality of these particular dowels, but they did cut great on my laser.

These were perfect for what I needed. I was making a multi tier cake and needed these to add support so it didn't fall all over itself. They are the right diameter and worked flawlessly. I did need to cut them down in length, but that was expected in anything I could have used. I couldn't have been happier with how well they worked.
