Wool and the Gang Ra Ra Raffia, Desert Palm (180), 100g

Compared to “generic” raffia, this is much much nicer to work with. Used this for crocheting a straw hat… I did not do a good job of it, but that was not the fault of the raffia!!! Would deffo buy again for another project in the future.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent raffia yarn – perfect for crochet projects I used Wool and the Gang Ra Ra Raffia to crochet a summer hat and I’m genuinely impressed with the result. The colour is beautiful – looks very stylish and works perfectly for warm weather accessories. The raffia is sturdy yet flexible, easy to work with and holds its shape extremely well, which is essential for hats. It didn’t split while crocheting and felt comfortable in the hands, even during longer sessions. The finished hat looks professional, structured and surprisingly lightweight. Overall, this is a high-quality raffia yarn that delivers exactly what it promises. I would happily use it again for bags, hats or other summer projects and would definitely recommend it.

Surprisingly easy to work with, made a nice crocheted hat with it for summer. However it's really awkward to start using it - outside end is tied horizontally around the middle, inside end is tied vertically around the middle and then wrapped around the inside. Had to cut it to get one end free. There was no need for both ends to be wrapped around the outside.

Great, used for a hat. A bit floppy, so I think you need to use small hook.

The softest and easiest raffia to crochet with. Highly recommended.

Great quality raffia, no breaks and crocheted up well, perfect for my project! I doubled up and used 2 strands for my bag but would crochet up well in one strand.

Gebruik goed voor een goed met rand maar heeft iets stijfsel nodig na een buitje ;)

Aus der Artikel Beschreibung ging für mich nicht klar hervor um was für ein Material es sich wirklich handelt. Ich habe dieses Material nach einer Anleitung zum Häkeln eines Strohhutes bestellt. Es lies sich gut verarbeiten. Allerdings ist es Bast! Als Faden nicht stabil und mehrfach auftrennen und die Häkelarbeit berichtigen ist nicht möglich. Man sollte schon erfahren sein. Mein Projekt gelag!

Die Wolle war in einer Anleitung für einen Hut. Daher habe ich sie gekauft. Am Anfang war ich doch skeptisch, wie sich 100% Papier verhäkeln lässt, wurde aber der sehr positive überrascht. Das häkel, aurüppeln und wieder verhäkeln Art super funktioniert. Ich würde die Wolle jederzeit wieder kaufen.
