Itโs great for my older cat, but the edge crevice is difficult to clean
Overall, I love the product. My older cat was having difficulty getting inside her old litter box and began going outside the box. This one she is able to step in easily. The only downfall is she mainly is peeing in the crevice which is difficult to clean. I have to use paper towels to soak it up and sometimes the pee goes through the handles. After soaking the pee up, I lift up the pan to clean it better. Currently, I put a pee pad underneath and now Iโm trying to put as much litter as I can in the crevice. However, the litter falls through the handles at the bottom. I donโt know if Iโm using it correctly. My other idea is maybe to put a litter bag over it to cover the crevice. I do have it in a half and half position so itโs high on the back and low in the front. This helps so too much litter doesnโt get kicked out. I purchased a mat that is suppose to catch the litter. Iโm hoping this will help w some of the litter that gets kicked out. This does not bother me though because I think it is unrealistic to have a low end litter entry with a cat and expect litter not to be kicked out. I do like the smooth inside of the box because it makes scooping the litter a lot easier and it comes up cleanly. Overall, Iโm satisfied because my cat is actually able to get in and out of the litter box to use it. I just wish maybe there was a way where I didnโt have to soak up the pee from the crevice. This may just be a me and my cat problem because of her difficulty walking.

Best litter box I've ever purchased
best litterbox i've ever owned. didn't realize how large it would be but that's even better actually. best feature is the 3 different configurations. Low all around for kittens if desired, very tall sides up for large or agile cats, or front side down with gradually ascending sides and tall back side. i use the 3rd configuration for my cat who has mobility issues from an injured knee but loves scattering her litter far and wide lol. When the front is down and back is up, there's a crease that actually catches a lot of the litter so less scattering (i use รko wood litter). Last perk is that the plastic on the bottom cleans up easier than my previous litter boxes--almost like it's silicone or something. It's worth the higher price i paid many times over. I laughed when it first arrived because the scoop that you can hang from the back of the box is TINY compared to the large box. But it worked well, is convenient that it hangs so i don't have to store it elsewhere, so i threw out my old larger scoop.

Good for senior kitties
I enjoyed the versatility of side height options for my geriatric cats. However, if you have it on it's lowest setting, the cats tend to pee in such a way that it fills up the trough that is created by the collapsed sides. Then it's a messy ordeal to clean up. I resolved it by only collapsing one corner for entrance and filling that trough with a couple of handfuls of clean litter in case of an "over shot". You might also want to put a mat or puppy pad underneath.

Great for our geriatric cats
I tried out several models of low-sided litter boxes and this was the only model that our elderly cat with severe arthritis could get in and out of with little effort until her health took a sharp dive and she made that final trip to the vet. Our other elderly cat is still using this box easily in spite of arthritis in his hips. The box is built so that it can be low-sided all over or just one side can be lowered, and the non-stick silicone material is easy to clean. The only problem was when we took in a rescued kitten. She's so fastidious that she energetically tries to bury everything and she easily scoops piles of litter over the short side!

Great for disabled pets
As other users pointed out, the design does lead to tricky cleaning. Plus litter flies everywhere while cats are digging. However, this gets a 5/5 because my cat currently has a leg cast and has so much trouble getting over the walls of a normal litter box. This solved her mobility issue instantly which is priceless.

Wonderful for older cat
I was so excited to find this litter box. My cat who is 16 years old is slowing down and she has mobility issues. This box is much easier for her to get in and use with out a struggle. I showed my home visit vet the box and she thought it was wonderful too and shared it with her other clients.

Purrrfect for kittens/seniors but too difficult to change height
Pros: Heavy and sturdy construction Very low profile for wee kittens or older kitties Large enough for multiple kitties to use simultaneously Cons: Very heavy and large when dumping contents Difficult to expand and collapse Litter gets trapped in fold when collapsed Difficult to dump without making a mess Sides are almost too tall when the pan is expanded Very long story short, I ended up with 9 new born kittens from 2 semi feral mommas. Two of these kittens have cerebral hypoplasia (wobbly kitty syndrome) and have difficulty getting around at times, especially when eating or "evacuating" :) I looked high and low for high and low litter boxes, finally settling on this one that would have enough space for a kitty or two but be low enough to allow ease of entry and exit. Many of the "kitten litter boxes" I saw advertised were more for ferrets or small bunnies and would not have served us for more than a week as the kittens rapidly grew. The boxes (I got three) are incredibly heavy and sturdy but also very difficult to expand and contrast, if you were planning to take them on the road or use for different kitties. In my case, I keep them collapsed so the kitties have easier access. This gets lots of litter and "extras" trapped in the fold of the collapsed pan side, making it very difficult to cleanly dump the contents or clean, unless you battle with expanding and collapsing the pan each time. While the handles are handy in transporting, they also let all that litter fall through if you're not careful in dumping the litter. Overall I'm happy with the pans for my use and will figure out more efficient cleaning methods. I'll be finding homes for most of the kittens but will likely keep my special needs babies, who will benefit from lower sided litter boxes during their lives.

Works so well
Our old boy was struggling getting into the litter box and this did the trick. I lowered the front and kept the back high. It comes with it's own scoop and even when there was a mess, it was super easy to clean up and not a manufactuting error. Solid purchase, collapsable and lightweight, so you could travel somewhere and use it as well. Didn't pick-up a smell or stain.

Great product.
Great for my elderly cat. He's able to climb in and out far easier than his other bulky, covered litter. Pee does get caught in the fold, but as long as you clean it regularly, it's fine.

So happy we got this for our senior cat!

Too small for large ๐
I liked that the front I could keep low. However it is small and the cat is peeing in the crevises of the lowered side. He is a long cat

Nice Box but has some issues.
In low profile mode it creates a moat around the perimeter of the box, and if your cat is older and doesn't quite have good aim the moat will fill up with urine. At that point it's difficult to clean. I "high" mode it's just a regular litter box and serves its purpose.
