These lights are great. I like a lot of lights, and normally have 3000 lights on my 7 foot tree. however this year just for convenience I bought a pre lit tree that only had 800 lights. I just needed a few more lights and there were a couple of areas that were a bit dull. This product totally solved the problem of large dark patches, something that drives me mad. It even annoyed me at Castle Howard last week when I saw dark patches on their displays, they need to get some of these!! Even if you are using them as your main set of lights, this style is far easier to use than the traditional one long string. There are 8 strings attached to the main ring and they just about reached the lower branches of my 7 foot tree, however as my tree was already pre lit, the length wasn’t much of an issue to me. Although they would be okay to use on their own, as a filler lighting product to get a better spread of lights they really excel. I wish I had bought this before as I always have a big dark patch no matter how careful I wrap my usual lights round every branch. The ring on this set just slotted over the top branch of the tree and it is not as chunky and obvious as other similar products that have a thick green plastic ring. I simply unwound each string one at a time, weaving through the branches so I didn’t get an obvious staring line. There is a 3 metres set and I will probably get one of those too for next year. If you are using them as your main lights, I think you need to get the 3 metre ones so you can zig zag them a bit more. The lights are a warm, but not too yellow light. They blend really well with the colour of the lights already on the tree. The wire is green, and not at all noticeable on my green tree, unless you get up really close. I’m made up with the product and think I’ve only been put off from getting them before as I have seen people use them and just have straight lines of lights, a look I dont like, but turns out they don’t need to be used like that. There are several light effects, but I’m just an always on person. Why don’t light manufacturers not have this as the first option? Drives me potty having to scroll through to the last one of I. I use smart plugs and it didn’t seem to remember the always on setting it was at when turned off, annoying, but not enough to put me off them.

I got these because my traditional line of lights was becoming a battle to get on the tree every year. Trying to distribute the lights evenly was difficult, and it always looked like there were either too many at the top or bottom. These are so much easier. They still get tangled up in the box, but once they are straightened out it is so much easier to actually get them on the tree. My only complaint is that they don't remember what setting they were on once they are turned off and back on. If you just want them on (no flashing or pulsing), you have to push a button several times to select it.

Very impressed with these Christmas tree lights! Took about 3 minutes to install and look so effective. Savsa so much time and they actually look more uniform than normal wrap around lights. 10/10 would reccomend!

Nice set of lights. I installed these on the Christmas tree at our local church. We had a twin set of 6m lights that were old and needed replacing. These were a good replacement with a nice soft light colour. Although they were a bit trickier to apply than I had anticipated, the main advantage is that the angst associated with running out/having leftover lights at the bottom and getting a good even spread are completely averted with these lights.

Absolutely brilliant, so easy to chuck on the tree. Huge fan! Would highly recommend. Gone are the days of swearing at Xmas lights. Thanks!

I don’t feel like photos do justice. I bought these for my prelit tree that burned out. The tree was super expensive so I didn’t want to part with it. I purchased and installed 2 (9.9ft) sets for my tree. I’m super duper happy with my purchase, this was genius and easy. I feel like I cheated! I found tucking them into the branches worked and looked best for my tree. I also like that I can alternate the twinkling settings on both. Seriously have no idea I used these vs the pre lit lights they had on before. Only reason for 4 stars is one strand was really touchy and would turn off some of the strands but when not touching the lights, it works fine.
