Perfect for new years
Bought this for new years because it’s tradition and I wasn’t let down. It’s the same flavor I grew up eating as a kid and the quality hasn’t deteriorated at all. This is only 4 bundles/servings, but it was perfect for my potluck. Once the water is boiling this goes super quick and you can either serve the soba hot or you can drain and rinse it under cold water for zaru soba in the summer. Some soba with kizami nori and Naruto for topping is just the perfect comfort food and the best way to ring in the new year. And unlike Italian pasta that is super firm buckwheat is flexible, I put it in the boiling water and give it a stir and every noodle stays in the water—no breaking required.
