KeySmart Air - Premium Keychain Key Holder Compatible with Apple AirTag, 5 Key Organizer Keychain, Air Tags Not Included

Received item two days ago so can’t speak to durability, but my thoughts so far: I was impressed by the incredibly compact size. It also just looks really cool in my opinion, giving your keys a much sleeker look. Love the red stitching. The AirTag slides in easily but the key assembly is difficult to set up. I’m skeptical that you could actually insert 5 keys as claimed by the vendor, but 2 fit very easily. As far as the mechanism, I expected it to loosen quickly with use of the keys but so far no issues. My biggest concern is durability, this will need to be long-lasting to justify the high price tag. So far it feels pretty rugged, though. Overall I recommend it for anyone without too many keys who wants to elevate the look of their everyday carry. Updated to add: after 6 months of regular use it’s still in perfect condition. I’m especially impressed with how the screw that holds the key assembly together stays tight even after folding the keys in & out numerous times, I’ve never had to tighten it. Had my last one for two years. I believe i paid $45 for it before so this new one for about $20 was enough to make me buy it again. Loved carrying it on me every day with how clean and neat it looks. Definitely took a beating (probably due to me not using a keyring on it on a carabiner thing) and kinda surprised it lasted this long; usually things don’t. I did notice they added stitching on the top piece which I hope will lessen the stress on it and tear the fabric.

Sleek and seems durable. The only issue (perhaps a big one for some) is that the insert you put the keys on is somewhat large so if the hole at the top of your key isn’t standard in size it won’t fit. I have 6 keys and 2 are the most important so I decided to do 3 and 3 and just keep some of the less frequently used ones on a spare keychain. I do wish there was some stitching to hold the black ring in place. As far as set up, it gets harder with more keys. Also, one of the pieces has a small rubber round on it and I wasn’t sure why and if it was to stay or be removed but the directions didn’t mention it and the pictures did not show it so I removed it. Given the trouble with getting some of my keys to fit, I would send it back had I not gotten it for nearly half off but there aren’t many other options styled like this. Since it was on such a good sale, I’ll keep it and it’ll work.

I like my keys and knowing where they are. This KeySmart is pretty compact and holds all the keys I need. I have no idea what else to review about... it holds keys and an AirTag, perfectly fulfills its purpose. There is one minor gripe and that is that the carbiner that comes by default falls apart pretty easily if you push on it horizontally/parallel rather than vertically/perpendicular, but that's also literally every carabiner except for those heavy duty ones, and to be honest they aren't selling carbainers, they're selling key organizers, so that doesn't really matter.

UPDATE: Red string on the side that holds the AirTag in is now fraying and it is only a matter of time until it completely fails and my tag falls out. Poor design and materials. I’m not even hard on it. I use it 2-3 times a day and have only had it about a month. Pretty decent product so far. Cool that you can put an AirTag in it and it keeps your keys compact. Also like that when I sit down I don’t have keys jabbing into my butt. The only thing I’m not a fan of, it hardly holds any keys. I tried to put 2 house keys and a car key in it and the post was too short, though it says it holds up to 5 keys. Sure the car key has some plastic on it, they all do these days, but it should come with a longer post included. There is no way that the car key thickness is the equivalent of more than 3 regular keys. Include a regular post and and longer one and I’d be happy. Besides that, time will tell as far as durability and if the screw retains its tightness.

4 years of ownership. Small and compact, slim and light. The function is phenomenal, but the long term wear from everyday use is questionable. After about the red thread on mine started coming undone. I restitched it myself and continued doing so about every year. The screw would occasionally loosen and I would tighten it about once a month. Never used Loctite, but if I didn’t keep an eye on it it would get very loose and the keys would flop everywhere. Not a big deal either. My only complaint is in the quality of materials used. About a year ago whatever substrate is glued to the leather started showing cracks. The adhesive came off shortly after and the leather split cleanly after. It is now only held by the substrate that is glued over the leather. I was very disappointed in this progression. I look for leather products for their lasting quality. The premium paid for this product indicates that the workmanship and quality of materials is “premium” as indicated by the seller. I have paid similar prices for keychains off Etsy that have stood strong even after 5-7 years and were only replaced out of preference. I recently acquired a 3D printer and have printed a key holder that fits my exact needs and taste. This was a beautiful piece for organizing my keys, but the durability fell well below the mark.

Great for an edc. I hate having bulk in my pocket so I decided to get this to have my AirTag and keys in the same spot. I wish there was a way to put your car keys in here too but I digress. Great product. I got the vegan leather because I like black but it’s great quality.

This is a very simple design, but also extremely functional and well thought out. It takes a minute to put things together as you have to place little plastic washers between your keys. I have about 4 keys I use and at first I was a little discouraged because the screw which makes up 1/2 of the assembly just barely fit through all of them. But when I hooked up the second screw and tightened things, everything fit very well. There has been no slippage of the screw, it's pretty well locked into place. I'm very happy with this keychaine. And now with the airtag, I don't waste time in the morning trying to figure out where I left my keys.
